Sitting on the corner of the bed, in the darkness, the only light was coming from his cell phone. Jimin ran his thumb slowly down the screen of the phone until his finger stopped in a contact.
He looked behind him. In the bed of that old hotel with green walls was that girl, sleeping, breathing slowly, hugging one of the pillows as if her life depended on it. "What the hell am I doing?" He asked himself. "I can't raise a little girl."
Jimin moved the phone to his ear, and although he hadn't yet spoken to that person, his lower lip began to tremble, causing his eyes to fill with tears.
"Yes?" A voice sounded, and even though Jimin was trying not to cry, he couldn't stop the tears from falling. "Hyung..." His voice was tense. "Jimin, are you okay? Something wrong?"
"No, I am not ok." He started crying loudly, but still covered his mouth, trying not to wake the little girl, who was still sleeping with a small smile, oblivious to Jimin's insecurities.
"What's wrong? Why don't you try to calm down and tell me what's going on?" Although they couldn't see each other, Jimin nodded. A few minutes later informing Yoongi, his friend, that he was now a dad.
Yoongi, Min Yoongi was a musician that Jimin met at work. Jimin started working in a cocktail bar a few years ago, and at first, he felt a bit scared, since he didn't know anyone, and he was too shy to start a conversation with his coworkers. This ended when Yoongi, the pianist of the bar, sat with him on one of the dinner breaks, without saying a word. And without expecting it, both became friends. As something new, both decided to open a bar, with other guys who became friends.
Jimin always felt a great support from Yoongi. He would always remember that moment when he had a car accident. His right wrist was damaged, which made it difficult to serve drinks. Yoongi stayed all night watching his friend, knowing that his wrist ached. So, when Yoongi finished his piano session, without even listening to the applause, he went to Jimin, removing the drinks and glasses from his hands, and preparing the drinks himself. Yoongi was for Jimin, an older brother.
"Everything will be fine, Jimin. We will all help you." Yoongi's voice was harsh, because of how late it was. But he didn't mind getting up at that time if someone he loved needed help. And Jimin needed him. "When will you get to Seoul?"
"Tomorrow morning, at 7:30 we have to take the last train."
"Then rest, tomorrow when you come back, we'll all talk together and see what we do." Jimin swallowed, lying on the bed, inches from the baby. "Hyung, thank you."
◥🐚 ◤Jimin dressed the girl shyly, the little one just played with one of the earrings that hung from Jimin's ear. "Ahh..." He opened his mouth, he hadn't talked to the girl because he felt really shy. "What's your name?" It was the first thing that occurred to him to ask, even though he already knew because he had spent all night reading the papers that declared, that Jimin was now her father.
The little girl smiled, glad to hear Jimin's voice. She grabbed his hand, and with her little finger, she tried to write in the palm of his hand how her name was written in Hangul. "Ha-Ne-Ul" Her voice sounded completely sweet, and Jimin couldn't help but feel his heart beating fast. "My name is Haneul." He smiled, that name was beautiful, because it hit him with the delicacy and beauty that she gave off. "Heaven, your name means heaven."
Jimin grabbed his suitcase and a small bag that his mother had given him, in it, there were some clothes for Haneul. He grabbed the little girl's hand, leaving the hotel room, heading for the train station.
At the train station, he was afraid that the little girl could get lost with all the people there. Finally, their train arrived, and Jimin took Haneul in his arms, she embraced his neck, and Jimin's heart trembled again.
Smiling, he entered the carriage, searching for his seats quickly and leaving Haneul to sit by the window, despite the fact that he knew he would get dizzy. The little girl looked out the window, her eyes large, surprised by how fast the train was going. "Hungry." She put her hand on her belly, rubbing it a little.
He quickly pulled out a plastic box from a white box, where there was two sandwich. When he went to give one of the parts to Haneul, she opened her mouth, waiting for Jimin to feed her.
A small melody played, causing Jimin to ask the little girl to take the sandwich. Pulling out his phone from his pocket, he answered the video call, quickly seeing the face of his friend Taehyung.
"Jimin, we miss you!" Tae smiled broadly. "Comeeee baaaaaack." Another voice screamed in the background, and Jimin recognized that person as Hoseok.
They both work with Yoongi and with him in the bar they had founded together. Taehyung was the waiter, as people loved his kindness and his smiles. And when some people took their children, the little ones adored him. On the other hand, Hoseok was equally loved by the people who went to the restaurant, as he was an amazing waiter too.
"We will be there in an hour or so." His smile got so big, Jimin missed all his friends so much, and he needed their support right now.
"We?" Taehyung asked. Haneul climbed on Jimin's lap, putting her back against his chest. Eating her sandwich happily while looking at the funny man that was on the screen. "Who...Who's that!?! It's a kid! Oh my god, she's so pretty!"
"Well...I will explain it when I go back."
"We will wait for you in our house! Please bring that cutie!" Taehyung screamed, and Jimin smiled. He obviously was going to bring her with him.
