As I felt sweat drip from my face I turned around to face the worst thing I've ever laid my eyes on... "Olivia! Olivia, get up! You'll be late to school!" I heard my mother say, as she woke me from my nightmare.I sit up, noticing I'd forgotten to breathe when I heard my mother, and looked in the mirror. "I'm a mess..." I said to myself, reaching for my hair brush. I get ready for school thinking about what I saw in my dream. I knew it wasn't real, but it felt so... lifelike. I shrug it off and go down stairs to eat. "Finally you come down. Your food's gonna get cold, so start eating, you'll miss the bus if you don't hurry." My mom said. I decided to ask "Has dad left already?" He usually drives me to school, before he got that new job though. My mother replied "Yes." looking a bit disappointed since he's barely here. I eat quickly then grab my bag, kiss my mom, tell her I love her waiting for her usually "Have a great day sweetie.", and walk out. As I stand waiting for the bus I look at my outfit. Some regular jeans with intentional holes, black tank, jean jacket, a black and white pair of Converse, and a onyx earrings and necklace set. When I look up, there's a cute guy around my age.. looking at me. When he notices I see him he walks away. "Who was he?" I ask myself right as the bus pulls up in front of me.
