"You. You are a demon!! You were cursed, you aren't my child...be gone, now! I don't ever want to see your face again!"

Her mother's words echoed through her head as she perched on the ledge of a cliff, staring at the sunset casting upon the forest below her, a river running through the middle of it. Her tears went unnoticed, spilling down her cheeks and landing in the dirt below her. She stood, looking down at nothing. She turned around and held her arms out, leaning backwards and letting herself fall. Her eyes close tightly as she fell through the air, finally making impact with the cold water below. She let herself sink, her cloak and hair floating all around her. She watched as the light dimmed and she went farther from the surface. She released her breath, closing her eyes as water filled her lungs. She began to choke, Black dotting her vision.

'Don't drown in this sea of silence....'

She tried to move her stiff limbs, only being greeted with pure darkness. Her body numb and frozen, blood beginning to spill from her nose and dissipating into the cold water that surrounded her.

'Don't let the darkness consume you....'

Her fingers twitched, her lips pursed. Her soul waiting desperately to slip from her body. Her jaw weakly clenched as her body faintly jolted.

'Weak. That's all you ever were....'

Blood red orbs fluttered open, going small and filling with insanity. Her fists clenched together, her lips still pursed and her jaw clenched tightly.

'Your blood is running cold through your veins...'

Her heart began to slow rapidly, her lungs stinging as they choked up water, spilling into the dark water surrounding her. Her breathing stopped, heart no longer beating as the blood that was once running through her veins, turned a deep black. Pumping slowly through her veins, giving a false pulse.

'Weak...you let yourself slip away. You're worthless...'

Something snapped inside her, her lifeless body jolted and rose to the surface, the cold air slapping against her wet skin. She didn't shiver. She swam to shore, jumping up onto a high cliff. She looked at the now darkened sky, the moon tinted red and reflecting off the seemingly Black Sea. Her now extremely sharp canines dig into her lip, drops of dark blood spilled into her mouth. She grinned, closing her eyes and tilting her head towards the sky, holding her hands out by her side. She began to laugh maniacally, Black tears spilling from her eyes and dripping down her chin.

The power she felt was immense, taking over her entire control of anything. She sold her soul to the Devil. She couldn't go back. She didn't want to. This is exactly what she wanted. For the pain to be over....
