Using a Kushinada attempting to exit the gates as a distraction, Ichigo returns and flies down to the deepest level of Hell, where Rukia has become a Sinner, while Renji and Uryū are rotting away. Ichigo fights Kokuto, while fighting off his Hollow side. Surprisingly, as the Kushinada's huge hand clamped down on Ichigo, a golden light appeared from below it's hand. The light shined through the palm of the Kushinada, making all the darkness around them, into a blinding light.
Kokuto, who was holding onto Rukia's Hell chain chuckled insanely
"He's going on a rampage after all! That's good, go ahead and destroy them like that!"
Surprisingly, the Kushanāda become a Skull-Clad armor for Ichigo, making Kokuto wonder what kind of transformation was that. Soon, there was an explosion, which caused Kokuto to let go of Rukia in order to cover up. Rukia managed to cling onto a branch of a tree nearby, however, the explosion was too great, and soon, she let go, for she had no more strength to hold on. Ichigo, seeing that Rukia was falling, flew over to save her, while cutting Renji and Ishida's chains in the process. Ichigo,who explains that Hell itself is asking him for help, he breaks everyone's chains, saving his friends, while binding Kokutō in more that drag him away into the depths of hell.
