I ran and ran to search for my parents. I still remember our address, actually I never tried to forget it. The night was cold from the snow.

As the familliar neighborhood hit me, it felt so nostalgic. How I used to bike here, how I used to want a tree house, everything. I bitterly smiled when I remembered that day they let go of me. The day I turned 18, they said I should look for myself now, alone.

Our house came to my vision, but the mirror says their not here. Our house was fully fine, even the lights are on like there was someone inside it.

"That's odd. They never left it open while they're gone." I whispered to myself. "What if they sold it?" I quickly shook off the idea.

I sprinted off and continued to search for them. I took a turn in a dumpster in a dark alley.

"This is it." I quickly saw my parents hugging each other. My tears started falling as I neared them.

"Mom? Dad?" They were fast to notice my presence. My mom's tears were quick to fall, same as mine as I hugged her tight, my heart clenching at their current state.

"Why are you guys here? You have home! You two are old enough to go home right? It's winter yet you're trying to kill yourself with cold? Why?" I sobbed to my mother, as she rubbed her loving hand in my back. I miss them so much, even though they left me.

"Daniel son, how did you know we're here? Son, I miss you so much! You don't know how hard it was to let you go. I'm sorry, I'm sorry it was for your independency!" I nodded many times still crying. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Son, you look well. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself." I broke from my mother's arms and hug Dad. We're in a group hug, I wish this moment would last forever.

"But why aren't you looking at yourself Mom, Dad? You should take care of yourself too! I miss you guys so much, you don't know what I've been through." I ranted. Mom and Dad chuckled, making me pout.

"Look, look honey! Daniel is doing an aegyo, how cute." Mom said pinching my cheeks in the process. Dad laughs at the site infront of him.

I miss everything, that it hurts. Seongwoo's right, I still love them.

"Yah! You didn't answer my question." I crossed my arms, pretending to be angry.

"Honey we should tell him." Mom said, Dad nodded to her. I frowned, confuse.

"Jihoon, took our house. He has a gun, Daniel. Please stay away from him. It's safe that he won't see you son. He kicked us out of the house, saying that you'll probably come back there." My eyes widen as my Dad explains. How could he?

"THAT JERK, HEARTLESS PIG!" I pull my sleeves up and walked away from my parents to go to our house. I'll teach him a lesson!

"No son! Please don't go there." I shook my head, angry.

"He took our house, Mom! How could that jerk still live? He should die!" My mom held my arms, trying her best to calm me.

"Please son! It's for your safety, please listen to what mom says." Mom was practically begging me not to go. I couldn't help but cry again, I'm not this weak but seeing my mom cry and beg for my safety hurts.

"Mom, Dad you know I love you both. Please. Just please, trust me on this. I'm a bigger built from J-Jihoon, I'm taking back our house from him." I said firmly, but in truth my hands were shaking. My Dad hug mom to comfort her.

"Your mom and I are coming with you, and we're calling the police." I nodded in agreement to what my Dad said, while Mom dialled the police hotline and reported Jihoon.

"Let's go take our house back."
