Junhoe's POV:
"Thanks for the food, delicious as always." I stood up from the table to get dressed, as it was a Sunday I had no lessons or lectures.
"Where do you think you're going, Ju-ne?" I stopped in my tracks, turning around to face where the voice had come from. "You barely helped with the cooking, you're going to clean this all up." He made what he wanted clear and I knew I should've helped when I had the time.
"형, (Hyung)" I whined, "Please, I've got to be somewhere."
"Yeah, in the kitchen cleaning... okay that sounded sexist but you're not a woman so that made no sense..." I snickered at his weird moment of confusion before I returned to whining.
"Please? Come on, 형 (Hyung) I really have to be somewhere." He glanced up towards me, his face painted with confusion.
"Be somewhere?" Now I was the confused one, why did it surprise him so much? "You? Koo Junhoe? You're going somewhere without me? Oh God, has hell frozen over?" The shorter male laughed, showing his teeth as I stood there unamused."형 (Hyung)? Please?" I pouted with my bottom lip protruding in an attempt to appear 'cute'.
"Oh okay," I returned back to my normal state, turning to leave the room, "But this is a one time thing! Do you hear me?" He shouted from the kitchen to where I now was.
"Thank you!" Were the only words I replied with, knowing it would annoy him even more.Jinhwan's POV:
Ahh, seriously. That boy... After cleaning up the dishes, I picked up my phone, scrolling through my texts and stopping when I found Hanbin's name.
"Bye, Jay!" I heard the boy shout at the door before leaving and closing the large wooden structure behind himself. I chuckled and shook my head at the lack of honourifics, continuing to text my message:
Hey, wanna come over today? I'm gonna be home alone and I don't wanna get bored...
I pressed send and waited for a reply, moments later there was a notification at my phone:
Umm... I'm sort of busy today, I'm really sorry you know I always want to spend time with you, but today's a bit packed.
Oh, ok. I guess that's fine. Have fun x
I really am sorry, Jinhwan. Maybe tomorrow?
I didn't reply, leaving the conversation there. Today was going to be boring. Come back early, Junhoe. I had nothing to do so I put a movie on, although I loved watching movies, I couldn't focus on what was playing on the screen properly. I was on my socials on my phone and I kept wondering what was so important that Junhoe had to leave. In addition, I questioned why Hanbin couldn't bring his presence to my home and why he didn't give me a reason, this had been happening very often these past few weeks. The movie was, as expected, dreary and stretched-out, feeling as though there would be no end. Why does this keep happening to me? I should've checked an online rating...
An hour or so later, as i had gotten at least half-way through the movie, I could hear rattling on the other side of the front door. Once the rattling had stopped, the door nob had turned and in walked Junhoe. I could only see him from the corner of my eye and didn't pay much attention to his entrance.
"Back early?" I shouted over my shoulder as my eyes were glued to my phone. He didn't answer my question, "Junhoe?" I questioned as my attention drifted away from the screen to a Junhoe that was stood ahead of me with his hand mid way between a brush back of his hair. "Woah..." I exclaimed as I scrutinised his new look. "Oh, so this is what you were doing?" His hair was now dyed a new colour. The sides that were shorter were their natural dark-brown colour, whereas, the centre that was longer was a shade of blue. I stood up to get a closer inspection of his hair, seizing a strand in my finger tips and twiddling it between my thumb and index. After seeing it from a closer view, I had noticed a slight grey tint that made it look ten times better than when I had first seen it. (a/n It's like the one on the cover of this story btw) Ughhh... why do you have to be so beautiful, Koo Junhoe? My heart fluttered from the close proximity I had with the younger boy.
