Welcome to Number 2 in the DarkFall series! I've you've read the first book then great, but if you haven't then I recommend that you do - although if you want this book can be read as a stand alone. Just note that characters from the first book will make appearances and cameos.

This book will be set in the head of our new beautiful leading lady Artalia, but I'll keep the first few chapters from our beloved Jay's point of view. And then I'll swap into our new character as the plot progresses and things begin to make more sense.

This book series is like my baby so I'd really appreciate it if you didn't try to steal my baby, because that's just wrong. Don't steal my baby, babystealers are the worst...

P L O T

Jay is the son of one of the most powerful alphas the world had ever seen. He tries leading the werewolf world after his fathers death but night by night, his past comes back to haunt him. Day by day, his nightmares get worse as he realises that he can never be fixed again. He has no mate, she died holding his hand beside him. He has no father, he died protecting his queen. His own family,  gave up their life so that he could continue his.

     But when he least expects it, he meets her.

    She is strong and beautiful, oh so beautiful. But she's the alpha of a not-so-friendly pack which makes things a little more complicated. And a whole lot more fun....

*All werewolf's are completely mortal until they turn seventeen, they turn for the first time on the first full moon after their 17th birthday.

   *A werewolf must be born from 2 werewolves, there are no half-breeds with humans. If a werewolf and a human mate the child will always be human.

   *This book does feature royal wolves which are part of the royal family. They are smarter, stronger and faster than normal and have abilities if their bloodline is pure. They also don't have an 'inner wolf' I go into detail in the book. So no, "my wolf said this" as I don't personally enjoy reading books like that.

    *The royal wolves are white, no one else is.

     *The moon goddess takes part slightly as in this book I have created my own origin story for wolves, but don't get excited as she is in no way apart of the story.

    *New wolves cannot turn when they like, only on a full moon. As they get older they gain more control over when they turn. Although every wolf is different.

   *Mates cannot talk telepathically.

   *Two Wolves must fully "mate" to become full mates. Duh.
