Sam x Reader ~ Smiles

Aww! I love Sam so muchhhhh :) he's my favorite thing in the world. This is going to be so fun to write lol alright enjoy my d00ds....

     You were at the Panamanian prison with Sam, Nate, and Rafe. You guys had gotten in trouble for destroying properties and stuff. You were playing some game with dice and cigarettes with Sam and his other 3 friends that didn't speak English. You didn't smoke, but the rounds that you win, you just spin the cigarette and see who the yellow point of it lands on. Sam is winning the game, of course. Nate came out to us looking extremely bruised and bloody. "Mierda." Said one of the prisoners when he lost. Sam and you looked up and saw Nate, Sam spoke "Lo siento, chicos, tengo que irme." You spoke Spanish so you understood what he and the prisoners are saying. "Claro, te vas cuando estas ganando." Said one of the prisoners. "Para ti." Sam said handing a prisoner some cards. "Bien, cuando usted esta ganando, es el mejor momento para dejar un juego, derecho? Haha." You told them. Sam starts laughing with the prisoners. You got up and walked over to Nate with Sam as he lighted a cigarette. Of course he's lighting a cigarette... what's new. "Jesus, they worked you over good. You all right?" Sam asked Nate. "Eh, just another day at the office. C'mon." Nate started walking and Sam ran to him saying "Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa. You're not gonna keep us in suspense are you?" He pointed at you when he said that. "You were right." Nate said. Sam stopped moving and chuckled but almost fell back and ran to Nate again. You caught up to Nate. "No, we were right. Now we just gotta find Rafe and-" Sam was interrupted by Nate. "Ah, Rafe-" Sam spoke over him. "Don't, don't start please?" You stayed silent. "Oh c'mon Sam. Like you said, we did this. You, Y/N, and me. Now this rich, selfish dude comes in on the tail end-" "How long have we been trying to get in here? Hm?" Sam asked. "We had some leads..." Nate sighed. "No we didn't. Okay, not one. So like it or not, no Rafe, no Vargas, and no getting in here." "Yeah, and speaking of Vargas, we got a problem." Rafe walked up to us and asked, "What kind of problem? Did he let you into the old prison?" "Yeah, yeah, he did." You answered. "Alright-" Rafe was interrupted by Nate, "After, he read the letter." "Oh... hm... so how much does he know?" "Enough that he wants a cut." Nate replied. "Enough that he wants 'in'." You said imitating Vargas. Sam laughed and you smiled. "Ah, shit." Sam sighed. "Rafe, if anybody else finds out about-" Rafe spoke over Sam. "I'll-I'll work it out with Vargas, okay. Don't sweat it. But right now, let's move on to more important matters." "Well then, we should probably find somewhere more... private." You said. "Yep." Said Sam, walking next to you and smiling. You smiled too.  You guys walked to the laundry room of the prison. "Alright, coast is clear." Said Sam. "Okay. So what'd we got?" Asked Rafe. Nate pulled out the cross he found in the old prison. "Ooh, wow." Sam widened his eyes as he looked at the cross. Rafe reaches for it but Nate pulled it away from him. "Hey!" "May I?" Nate slowly handed the cross to Rafe. "Just be careful, okay?" Rafe looked at the cross with interest. He mentioned the detail and design of the cross. "It's hollow." He chuckled. "Why would on of Avery's men go through the trouble of hiding a cheap crucifix? Rafe asked. "It's not a crucifix. Technically a crucifix is a representation of Jesus on the cross." You patted Sam on the shoulder to get his attention and looked at Nate. "It's not Jesus." You continued. "Oh, you're right. No crown of thorns, he's tied to the cross. Well if it's not Jesus then-?" Rafe noticed on the cross. "Read the inscription." Pointed out Nate. "Digna factis recipmus." Rafe read it. "We receive the due rewards of our deeds." Sam translated. "Yeah." Nate agreed with him. "Look at you." You said. "There's a benefit of growing up in a Catholic orphanage." Sam smiled. "That's Saint Dismas." You told them. They all looked at you with eyes widened. "What? I'm Catholic too." Yup.  You grew up in a Catholic school and church. "Y-Yeah, the penitent thief." Sam said. "Guys, lets just pretend I skipped all of Sunday school..." Rafe mentioned. Sam cleared his throat and said, "Ah, okay. During the crucifixion Jesus is placed between 2 thieves. Okay, one of them mocked Jesus, the other one, this guy, was penitent. He accepted his punishment with grace-" You spoke over him quickly, "And Jesus brought him to Paradise." Sam smiled and said, "Yep! Wait, there is a Cathedral of Saint Dismas... in Scotland." "And the last sighting of Avery was in Scotland." Nate added. You laughed and said, "It can't be a coincidence." Rafe started, "You know, I had my doubts about you three at fir-" A bunch of friends of Gustavo popped in the laundry room. "Ah, great." You sighed."

OKAY SO sorry this was so long and that nothing really happened, but I like to build up the storyline before I get to the good part, like a movie or book. :) anyways I hope u enjoyed my d00ds!
