The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock x reader)

The brother

Y/N, L/N. You say while reaching out your hand to shake his.

     Throughout the rest of the day, you continuously see Sherlock glancing at you.  You don't think anything of it until you see Molly. She looks very confused. When she notices you she walks over to you and says. " What did you do to him"? "I have no clue," you say in return. 

    As the day goes on you see him glance at you more and more. As 5:00 pm comes around you see Sherlock grab a large black trench coat, and a gray scarf. He puts them on and walks out of the door without saying a word. You look at Molly and she gives you permission to leave. You walk out of the door and realize that Sherlock is no were to be seen. Slightly disappointed you start to walk home. Since it is warm and your flat is only three blocks away, you do this often. You instinctively slide your keys in between your fingers. As you start to walk you hear heavy footsteps come from about twenty feet behind you. They are steady and don't speed up or slow down.  You don't turn around for fear of what you will see. As you near your house the footfalls get closer. You then decide to turn around to see the infamous Mycroft Holmes walking behind you. Spontaneously flashbacks of his sister Eurus come into your mind. 

You two used to be close friends until she was sent away.  You don't know what happened to her after that. 

You tried to turn back around, but Mycroft stuck out his folded umbrella to stop you. " I see that you have met my brother, Y/N. If you MUST talk to him, you should not mention my sister." HIS BROTHER!! how could you be so distracted?! Of course, that was his brother! HOLMES!! Ignoring him you try to turn away, but you are blocked by a large man in a black suit and tie. " If you try to run, Y/N," he says with a casual tone "I will be forced to, um... eliminate you, to put in kind terms. The large man grabs your arm and pushes you forward. Just as you are about to enter a black car that had just pulled up, you see Sherlock come out from around the corner. "Let the girl go, Mycroft. Stop being childish." The man quickly lets you go. You run to Sherlock and get behind him, trying to act like a victim. "Y/N, are you okay?" he asks with a warm tone. You nod your head and Sherlock turns towards Mycroft. "Stay out of my affairs, brother." Mycroft attempts to speak but Sherlock has already grabbed your arm and walked away. 

The two of you walk in silence towards his flat which is only about a block away from yours. Once you have arrived, he opens the door and gestures for you to go inside.
