Chap 1-New Kid

Nicks POV

Okay, today's my first day in Cornbury I'm pretty excited, sure I'm gonna miss my old school and friends but this new town Cornbury seems cool and I can't wait to make new friends and live somewhere new.

So I just got to Cornbury and I'm unpacking all my boxes in my new room and I gotta say, this new one is WAY better than my old one,not to mention cooler. I even got a new medium sized TV just for video games how cool is that!!! Mum and Dad are unpacking too and we're just almost about done with the whole house, and all I'm left with is just a box of some of my personal and important stuff, like underwear and video games and most importantly my journal, I know, I'm kinda old and wrong gendered for all that 'dear diary' stuff but for one my journal's nothing like some girly diary; it's mature and expressive and for two it's a great way I use to calm and express myself when I feel lonely, mad or don't really think anyone would understand. Not THAT many people know about my dia- I mean journal and I pretty much intend to keep it that way.

So I go outside to the moving truck and just as I'm about to lift my box I see a purple giant sized monster!?it has many tentacles,like an octopus but stronger and super scary. And before I know it, it grabs my box. Oh no...not good!!! I gotta get that back! 'but how?' is the big question. Before I could attempt anything, it spotted me and tried grabbing me but just in the nick of time I saw purple push me out of the way, when I had a better look it was actually a girl with a purple suit and hair she looked liked some super heroine and a guy with a similar costume but more blue themed somehow then teleported me a safe distance from the scene and quickly went back to help his friends.

There were four super heroe guys, oh actually three guys and one girl who each had black with either red,green,blue or purple outfits, and matching hair with one of those four colours. Each had some type of scientific ball in there chest and I think it had something to do with there powers. It was a long, but not too long fight with the monster until they finally defeated it.

They used a special gun I think ,to remove a virus they were constantly talking about and the monster turned into a harmless little squid and the blue guy teleported again with it probably to leave it where it rightfully belongs. Then all the attention is suddenly diverted to me and the purple girl hands me my box.

"I believe this is yours, um..."she asks.

"Nick-I'm Nick Stone" I say getting the box from her.

"I'm Sho-" all there eyes widen " I mean I'm..um..super! hehe, I'm the purple superdude" she manages to say.

Shope POV

"I mean I'm..um..super! hehe, I'm the purple superdude" I quickly reply. I can't believe I let that slip! The others will totally kill me about it. So I quickly change the subject.

"I haven't seen you around this neighbourhood before, are you new here?" I ask him.

"Yeah, my family and I moved to Cornbury today actually,and I haven't met anyone yet. Who are you guys anyway? "he asks me.

"We're Cornbury's superheroes, the superdudes!!!" Kevin answers for all of us.

"Wow that's awesome! Thanks you guys, for saving me" he says beaming with a big smile. Not that I like him or anything, but he has a super sweet smile. Oddly enough it reminds me of Kevin somehow.

"No problem kid, we're just doing our job" Tyler says trying to make us sound all grown up, typical Tyler.

"Yup, it's what we do as the superdudes!" the Roach says speaking finally.

"You can always count on us" Kevin joins in.

After we had a short conversation, telling him about about all the cool stuff in Cornbury and some other things about it and us telling him a bit about us the super dudes! The sun started setting.

"Well, we should get going" Tyler says.

"Yeah, its getting kinda late" Kevin realises.

"Well at least, the next time you see the virus you know who to call" I tell Nick knowing that we should really get going.

"Instead of teleporting, dont you guys wanna try horse back riding?!" Kevin says turning into a huge black horse big enough for the three of us. Tyler and Roach hop on and before I do too, Nick grabs my shoulder.

"Wait!" he says.

I turn around and give him a questioning look.

"Is something wrong?" I ask.

"No, I just wanted to thank you personally for saving my box,
it contained some really important stuff,and I would never forgive myself if something happened to it, so thank you alot, really" he says smiling again.

"Aww, Nick that's so sweet, it's nothing really. I was just doing what I do" I say smiling back. "I should really get going, See you soon Nick" I tell him.

"Can't wait for it" he says winking in a playful way. He's a bit of a dork, from what I've interpreted, but in a cute way..

I get onto the 'horse' and off we go, after we get a few feet away I look back to get a glance at Nick, I wave at him and he waves back.

I think I just made a new friend.

Nicks POV

I wave back to my first friend, who would have thought Nick Stone's first friend in Cornbury would be one of its superheroes! Though I don't really know if this friendship will blossom since she's super and everything, but I hope it will cuz her and rest of the superdudes are really awesome and it would be cool to have those guys as my friends. But I still look forward to making new friends at Cornbury junior high school school, the school Mum and Dad said I'm going to. Who knows what awaits me there and tomorrow is my first day of school. I'm honestly kinda nervous but have a good feeling as well cuz if I could befriend a buncha superheroes, then befriending normal kids. How hard could that be?

And that's a wrap, here's the first chapter I'm soooooo tired it's a few minutes past midnight ryt now, but when you're dedicated to ryt a fanfic, time is nothing!!! So I just wanna thank everyone who took time to read this story,the first chapter doesn't have much information but I promise to add more in the coming ones .
