December 2015
Stepping in a lavish doors of a fraternity house, wide grin scattered all over your features. Loud electronic music blasting out through the speakers nearly deafening you. Your best friends, Junmyeon, Jongdae, Jongin and Yixing have arranged a Christmas party for the year end just before all your peers could part ways for the holidays. Anticipations of nothing but living this night as if your last, swigging every bottle or cup of you don't even need to know what as long it's not a poison or pee, dancing your drunken body throughout the night — maybe getting laid too — sent shrills of excitement through your veins."Yixing!" You waved your hand out enthusiastically the moment you find him standing with couple of guys around him. His eyes formed into pretty crescents when he spotted you, waving back as he hollered your name. You walked up to him for warm embrace since you barely meet to hang out due to hectic schedules and just an utter pain-in-the-ass of a semester.
"Hi" you noticed the guys that once around Yixing now had their gazes on you. One with a silver-bluish hair that's unruly but look absolutely gorgeous on him greeted you. His tall and lean frame towering over, standing out from everyone else.
"Oh by the way, this is Chanyeol. He's one of the the frat boys here." Yixing piped up introducing you to the tall one, telling them your name. He also introduced the other guys who were new to you, mentioning Minseok, Sehun and another three whose names seemed to have went passed through from your left to your right ear because you had all your primary senses solely focused on the first guy.
The smile masking his handsome face, pair of brown captivating eyes glinting in something inexplicable yet makes your pulse palpitate. Never in your life you met someone take an impact on you like this. You've seen many guys — sure it can be counted by a single hand alone — but no other had rendered you gawking just by watching his figure from head to toe.
"Nice to meet you." He stretched out his hand to you for a hand shake. The corner of his lips turning upward more sweetly and gentle when you gladly took it.
From this day on you knew things will forever swerve your life from a dull boring course to a more exhilarating one. The grin that got stuck across your lips remained still from the thought. Enticement boosting up at its pinnacle.

New Year's eve
Right after your individual separation for vacation, your best friends plus the recently new ones that Yixing had introduced you —and basically became your friends too— informed you for another party, again, welcoming the New Year. Celebrating holidays, particularly ending it with people who made your year meaningful should be forever held as long as you live. Junmyeon's words, not yours.Few weeks had passed since the Christmas party but the thought of Chanyeol hasn't yet left your mind peacefully. You and him had shared a long intimate conversation the night you met. Adequately long to let you know he was single and had not been in a relationship for months, to let you know his passion for music is way beyond you could've ever imagine, to let yourself confirm that indeed the jokes he told you were apparently from Junmyeon that despite your normal self wouldn't laugh at how terrible and lame it were, you still genuinely did. You weren't sure if it was because you had a horrible standards for humor as well or the fact that it was coming from a guy you already had plotted out your future with. Predominantly long enough to let you know that this guy, is the one you wanted to be right by your side at both your bests and worsts.
"Three, two, one!"
Champagne bottle caps blew across the room, liquor pouring bubbling out to the floor. Jongdae, Kyungsoo, Sehun and Jongin each with bottles in their hands have gathered surrounding you and started shaking off opened bottles at you, drenching your whole outfit. You instinctively covered your face with your hands but alas proved it to be futile. You laugh instead hitting lightly whoever's arms your hand landed to.
