It was night, and Stormfur had taken his mate, Brook, out of the forest. They had been staying with Thunderclan for a while, but the other clans started to think they were up to something. They didn't want to cause Thunderclan any trouble, so they left.
"Where are we going?" asked Brook. "Back to the mountains?" Stormfur shuddered at this, and turned to his mate.
"No. The tribe will never accept me, and you know it." Stormfur snapped at her. Brook looked away, sadness showing in her usually bright eyes. Stormfur's gaze softened, "I'm sorry Brook. I'm sure we will find a place somewhere."
