Before The Party

Sakuras POV

The past couple of days seem to have gone by pretty fast, I guess it's because of the party. Everyday after I get off work me, Ino, and Hinata continue our planning. Everything's about just in place, decorations, drinks, and invites. Hinata was right, thanks to Ino and her—err, guy friends, we've been getting calls about the party all day! The only problem with that is, well, making sure a certain someone doesn't find out...

Friday

Today's the last day of work! I get Saturdays and Sundays off (how weird right? I would've preferred my days off scattered). I sat taking notes on this bank, Sasuke said something about it being the only bank that he could trust his money to or something. As for Sasuke, he was on his laptop. That was, until a certain big mouth yellow haired dobe burst in.

3rd person POV

Naruto burst in the Uchihas office without warning. Causing both the CEO and his apprentice to look up in wonder. "Hey guys!" Naruto spoke up, waving his hands.

Sasuke sighed, "Who gave you permission to come in, loser?"

"Oh yea oh yea—sorry bout that! Anyways I have an important question for Sakura!" Naruto announced.

"And you couldn't text, call, or come by tomorrow when I'm not at work?" Sakura asked, raising her eyebrows.

"No of course not! One: I dropped my phone in the toilet. Two: waiting is too long—I have to know this now!" Naruto said walking towards Sakura.

"Fine then, what is it?" The pinkette asked crossing both her arms. "Ok so it's about that party," Naruto started, Sakuras eyes widened, "What party—there's no party what're you talking about—there's no party!" Sakura yelled nervously, waving her hands as she tried to assure Sasuke. "What're you talking about? Aren't you, Ino, and Hi—" Sakura quickly dragged Naruto by his ear away from Sasuke. She whispered something in his ear. "What?! Why not Sasukes—" Sakura punched Naruto in the head, "You idiot!" She snapped, whispering something else in his ear.

Sweat trickled down his face, "Is that a threat, Sakura?" "Take it how you want to, Naruto." Sakura stated, placing her hands on her hips. He nodded, taking a gulp.

"W-well," Naruto started, earning a questionable look from Sasuke, "I-I better get going, ya know." Naruto slowly said, eyeing Sakura then Sasuke.

"Hey Naruto." Sasuke said. Naruto looked at Sasuke, glancing back at Sakura who was death glaring him, with another gulp he nodded. "Come back at 10 p.m. There's something I need to talk to you about..." Sasuke told him, earning a concerned look from Sakura that he chose to ignore. Naruto nodded, looking at Sakura once more, then leaving. Phew! That was a close call. That big mouth knucklehead almost ruined the whole thing! Sakura exhaled, wiping sweat from her face. She looked back at Sasuke who happened to be looking at her too. "W-well," Sakura swallowed, "let's get back to work!" She said, taking a seat. Which only earned a suspicious nod from Sasuke.

Saturday

"The party starts in 4 hours and nothing's set up!" Ino yelled dramatically. "Oh shush! You're the one who chose to oversleep!" Sakura yelled. "Yea I know but you should've woke me up!" Ino yelled back pointing a finger at Sakura. "Oh I SHOULD'VE NOW??" Sakura started. "Guys! Let's not argue here," Hinata surprisingly yelled, earning the attention of both kunoichi, "What we need to do is concentrate on setting up. Otherwise their won't be a party!" After a moment of glares, both the girls nodded in agreement. "Yea..."

And so the girls set everything up. Ino setting up the music, party effects, and putting away everything that could cause her to get in deep trouble. Sakura putting down the food, and placing the alcohol and keg stands. Please forgive me please forgive me—I'm not gonna drink it! Sakura thought nervously. While Hinata set up all the outside decorations, as well as pool materials such as floats and etc.
