Somehow in my mind I knew this would happen. I would see the twins again and they would ask me why I left with no notice. Somehow I knew that I would need to prepare for this moment, as I had spent the last two years doing. Somehow I thought that seeing them would be easy and we could forget the past and pick up from where we left off. I thought wrong.
"Ainsley, are you okay?" Ethan  questioned, "We've been asking you questions and you haven't said a thing."
"She's just suprised Ethan lay off." Grayson responded.
"Dude I want to know if she's okay! Is that too much to ask?" Ethan shouted.
It was happening again. The twins were being driven apart because of me. Why did I do this to them? Would this happen with another girl, if not me? They continued to argue in a hushed tone.
"Ethan! Grayson! Stop! This is why I left, I'm driving you two apart and you don't even realize it! I can't weaken your bond, I'm not worth it." I shouted.
"Ainsley, you mean the world to us. We have realized that the past years' mistakes are in the past, and we need you back. You were the light in our life, brightening every room. We love and miss you, and if we can't keep it together, you can just leave us and we'll never bother you again."
Was what Grayson had just said true? I was the light in their lives? I guess I'd have to find out.
Someone in the party must've noticed my absence, because my best friend, Emmalee, looked over in my direction. She was slowly walking over until she saw who was with me. She raced over and slapped the twins.
"DONT YOU DARE TRY AND WORK YOUR WAY INTO AINSLEY'S LIFE AGAIN! BOTH OF YOU HAVE MADE HER DEPRESSED AND SAD FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, AND I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN YOU OUT OF HER MIND! YOU'RE BOTH MAKING HER FEEL GUILY FOR BREAKING YOUR BOND, AND IT HAS BEEN EATING HER UP INSIDE! SO GET AWAY FROM HER NOW!"
Both of the twins' faces were full of shock. I'm sure they didn't think that I was depressed, or feeling guilty.
"Well, if Ainsley really feels this way, then we will try our hardest to stay away, but we might still see her again," Ethan started, "Because we live in LA now, and we were just trying to film a video."
They live in LA! Finally! I have been in need of other friends in LA and I need to spend some time with other people.
"Well I guess I will tell you my birthday surprise then. Ainsley, you know that apartment right next you yours with the separation door?" Emmalee asked.
"Yes. The people who lived in it before moved to Hawaii." I responded
"Well, I pulled in a favor, and I am going to be moving there!"
"Omg! Finally!"
"I know! Now all we need to worry about is who will live in the the third one!"
"Wait, are you guys talking about Beachside Apartment Complex? On the 5th floor?" Ethan interjected.
"Oh no." Emmalee mumbled under her breath
.
"Yes, why do you ask?" I responded.
"Grayson do you know what this means?" Ethan asked.
"Emmalee, Ainsley, we're your new neighbors!" Ethan cheered.
I didn't know how to feel about this. I would be neighbors with the twins!
