The morning sun filtered through the windows as Rachel rubbed her eyes of sleep her body sore as she tried to remember what happened the night before. The pain in her right shoulder reminded her clearly what had happened.
"Son of a bitch that hurts" she thought as she got out of bed, however she had to lean her head against the pillow again because she suddenly felt dizzy as if she was experiencing a hangover.
Growling under her breath, Rachel stood up as she got ready for school making herself a cup of coffee in the process.
"Urgh....that was not a dream that was for sure..." she thought out loud as she took a sip of her coffee allowing her to wake up a bit. The bitter taste of the warm liquid made her smile a bit as she continued to think back she felt a pair of eyes on her from the shadows.
"Whose there?" she said looking up to notice her sister standing there smirking.
"Hi Rachel." Sarah actually laughed as she sat next to her elder sibling. "Did I scare you?"
Rachel chuckled as she ruffled her younger sisters black hair. "Na you know me. I don't scare" she said smiling a bit as she drank her coffee.
"Hey sis what happened to your arm?" the perceptive sister said as she took notice of the giant bandage wrapped around her sisters shoulder.
Rachel smiled a bit as she replied to her younger sibling. "Oh this yah I just fell off my bed and got a mega gash last night. Guess I was dreaming and well you now know the reason so yeah" she said as she grinned a bit. "Its another one of my battle scars of life."
Sarah looked at her sister and sighed as she smiled a bit "You Rachel are always getting hurt be careful"
Rachel grinned and laughed a bit as she replied "Eh can't promise that Sarah" with that the sibling couldn't help but laugh a bit as she left the room.
Now left alone again Rachel continued to try and process what happened the night before.
"We will meet again darling." she recalled the stranger named Dark say before he left. Subconsciously she touched her lips as the memory of him kissing her reappeared into her mind causing her cheeks to blush crimson.
"That son of a sneaky devil bitch...." she muttered under her breath as she sipped her coffee. Looking to the time of the clock she noticed that she needed to finish getting ready for school. Placing her cup in the sink she dashed upstairs to gather what she was gonna wear to school gabbing a black tank top as well as a grey T-shirt she began setting out her outfit of black. Grabbing a pair of black cotton pants from the drawer she set up her outfit before quickly heading to the shower to wash up. However as she is she feels a pair of eyes on her as the suds fall off her body.
"I know you are there watching me." she said to the familiar presence as two arms wrapped around her naked body.
"How interesting you could sense me even from the shadow plane." said a familiar seductive voice sending a shiver down Rachel's spine.
"Why are you here?" she said clenching her fists not turning around becoming stiff the wound on her shoulder was now exposed. Looking down at the hands that held her in a tight grip she noticed them to be that of a shadow aura.
"I did tell you darling we would meet again." The darkness chuckled a bit as it caressed the females shoulder. "You are indeed an interesting human. While I slumber do try not to mar this skin darling. I think I shall keep you."
With that said the shadow suddenly latched itself onto Rachel's wound as an essence of Dark's self began to absorb into the tender flesh.
Bending over and clutching her right arm in pain Rachel growled under her breath as the hot spray of the shower hit her skin. "Dirkis....Removia Rachel" she said taking a deep breath with each word of the spell she had learned.
Darkiplier's essence was thrown out of the female's body as she said the words the shadow self chuckled. "So you are a magic user. How interesting." with that the shadow smirked before dissipating. "I keep what is mine darling. You will be mine eventually whether you like it or not."
Holding her injured arm, Rachel continued her shower with no further interruptions. "I belong to no man that includes you. Dark." she said as she finished washing up with her favorite scented rose soap.
Meanwhile Mark woke up from the strange dream he just had. "Well that was weird." he thought out loud as he looked down at his hands. The dream of Rachel had seemed so real to him, it was odd but he almost could have sworn that he had seen the female gamer in her shower.
"Nah that's ridiculous" he said laughing to himself as he got ready for the normal day ahead.
However, deep inside of Mark, Dark chuckled as he thought of the beautiful yet fire spirited young woman that he had encountered.
"Not to ridiculous." he said to himself within the void of Marks soul as he watched from the shadows what his targeted pray was doing in her normal routine. He watched her silently from the shadows as she dressed all in black. "Hmmm what an intriguing creature of shadows you are." he thought within the shadows of Mark's mind.
Rachel fully aware that Dark was watching her from the shadows ignored his presence for the full day as she went to college and drove back home. It had been an eventful day thus far, one she knew deep in her gut that would most likely continue later on in the day.
