I was in my dorm. In the kitchen grabbing a two small snacks for my unexpected guess. 'Unexpected is an understatement. Rory was bound to show up.' I looked at where Rory sat on the couch with his iPhone in his hands.
He was in a polo shirt and khakis just like how I met him. Gathering the crackers and cheese I walked out and sat down. "Do you have the squirting cheese by chance?" Rory asked. "No it's processed I don't eat processed food." I told him. "Why?" Rory asked taking a cracker and a slice of cheese.
"It isn't healthy and could affect my weight." I told him. "A few pounds wouldn't kill you. Plus werewolves have a hard time becoming fat. The wolf won't accept the sedentary lifestyle." Rory said as he took a bite of his cracker. 'See now you can buy it.'
I ignored Aphrodite. She constantly wanted all that greasy food and meat packed food. 'It may not be healthy in your eyes but it is delicious.' We only had fast food once in awhile and that was when mother said we should have it but mother wasn't here anymore.
"How does that work?" I asked Rory. "Werewolves have a high metabolism a reason why you are underweight technically we are eating for two and all of the things we do means we burn food fast. Some werewolves eat throughout the day while others eat a lot in a meal." Rory said as I made myself a cracker.
"Being a werewolf sounds complicated." I told Rory who smiled just a little. "It's not once you get used to it and trust me you'll get quite use to it and eventually enjoy it." Rory said with a smile as he grabbed another cracker.
'And we'll even get on a regular talking basis Love.' Rory smiled at me yet again. "So would you like to go on a date?" Rory asked right up and to business. I was shocked but nodded unable to say no to Rory. He seemed like an innocent puppy. A wolf puppy.
Rory smiled. "Tomorrow we can shift together. I know a nice place just out of town where we can run and play." Rory said with a smile on his face. Running and playing. I. . . shifted once a month when Aphrodite forces her way out. We run then we go back.
Rory smiled to himself. "Running at night is easier to so I'll pick you up after dinner." Rory promised. 'Then we can run, play and maybe even hunt with Aries and Rory.' Aphrodite was thrilled and pumped for tomorrow. 'Let's get through today first.' Aphrodite pouted but didn't argue with me.
I got myself another cracker sandwich as did Rory and we ate them in peaceful quiet. "Thanks for coming over." I told him. Rory smiled. "I want you to get comfortable with being a werewolf and my mate since you bare my mark." Rory said brushing hair from his face.
I could see the grey strands throughout his hair. 'I bet his wolf is a beautiful deep gray.' Aphrodite was thrilled to see what Aries looks like in wolf form and was imagining it as Rory and I spoke. "It was good to see you Love but I have to get going." Rory spoke.
"Where do you have to go?" I asked. "To make sure the frat boys didn't destroy our house while I was gone. I swear children behave better then them." Rory said shaking his head. I smiled a little bit at that. Rory took another cracker sandwich while I walked him to the door.
"It was nice seeing you Love." Rory said. 'So nice to see him I can't wait for tomorrow!' "You too." I told him and Rory smiled before leaning forward and pulling me into a hug which I was shocked at.
Rory was warm, warmth radiated from him. Hesitantly I hugged him back and Rory pulled back with a smile. "I'll see you tomorrow Love." Rory said with a smile before walking off towards the elevator. I shut the dorm door before going to sit on the couch and I eyed the crackers and sliced cheese.
