I was sitting on the couch in my dorm with my laptop in my lap. I was on Wikipedia looking up a heat. Rory told me about it and how I would get my own since I was a werewolf.

So now I was preparing myself for my upcoming heat with information. So far I had discovered mostly things about dogs. But I did find a source on wolves. 'You thought wolf must be similar to werewolf now didn't you.' 'We turn into a wolf so we must have similarities.'

Wolves went into heat in the winter and gave birth in the spring. It was for when the puppies left the den the weather was warm. They usually went into heat in late December. The alpha pair courts each other before copulating for five to seven days several times. 'But we aren't alphas so it's obvious it's a little different.'

Yes, but I was still preparing for when I'd go into heat. I had even bought some ice packs. Rory said I'd get hot when my heat happened so I thought ice packs would help. 'With our luck it'll probably make it worse.' 'Stop being so negative.'

Aphrodite whined at that. 'I'm not trying to be negative, just telling you what can happen. We've never gone into heat before or even knew it existed.' I continued looking through the Wikipedia getting all the information I'd need on the heat and storing it inside my brain.

After that I shut my laptop and put it on the coffee table before getting up. I didn't have classes today and was just waiting for Rory to come surprise me. I hope he'd like my outfit that I had picked out for today after taking a nice long hot shower.

I was in a blue velvet crop top long sleeve shirt and then a pair of flare out blue velvet trousers. 'It does look nice and I'm sure Rory will love it. As will Aries although I think he prefers wolf form more than anything.' Aphrodite dealt with Aries more and enjoyed it.

The first. . . wolf we dealt with that had feelings for us. And wanted to introduce us to the 'mature' side of the world. Whatever that meant. I went to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of sparkling water before walking away holding the water in my hand.

Then I headed over to the couch and took a seat once more. 'Now to wait for Rory to hopefully show up.' At that moment there was a knock at the door and I sniffed the air, Rory's scent was there along with food. With that I bounded towards the door and opened it.

Rory stood there in a blue polo shirt, a cashmere jacket, then some khaki's and converse. In his hands was a container of mac and cheese. "Homemade." Rory said with a smile. "Any more flowers?" I asked teasingly looking at the beautiful red roses in the vase.

'The flowers were a sweet gesture. Pretty cheesy, but I like cheesy.' 'I love cheesy as well. It always seemed cute.' Aphrodite was happy I had begun to talk to her and get comfortable with her. Like a constant comforting presence.

"It looks delicious." I told Rory who grinned as he came in and we headed to the table. "Good, I had my mom send me the recipe so I hope it's good." Rory said as we went to the table after Rory grabbed some plates and then went to loading them with the mac and cheese.

It honestly looked so delicious. 'Yes Rory brings good food over, cooked food, fast food, store bought food.' 'Yes he brings over quite the bunch and it's quite good.' "I researched heats." I told Rory proudly who looked up from his food and nodded at that.

"You could of asked me, I know some from personal experience. I've been around a few females in heat. My brothers mate went into heat as did a guy I knew." Rory stated and I nodded. "So what's my heat going to be like?" I asked Rory as he took another bite of his food.

"Well like I said you'll feel like your on fire, your wolf will be mostly trying to complete the mating and my wolf will be pressuring me as long as I'm around you when your in heat." Rory explained. 'I won't be that bad. . . hopefully.'

That hopefully didn't seem so certain. "But if we do end up mating. Werewolves have a special guaranteed protection. The wolf has to desire to have children while having sex. To prevent unwanted children. It's mostly the male's doing as the female is always fertile." Rory said.

"Has there ever been a case differently?" I asked. "Well there was one. A hellhound raped the Beta's female and she got pregnant, but she tossed the baby out the moment she was born as wolves don't believe in abortion. The hellhound took the baby. The baby is dead as she was psychopath and tried to kill people." Rory said.

I nodded. 'Well it seems this pack and Rory's family seems to have a lot of story and action with them.' "So unless you wanted children, I wouldn't get pregnant?" I asked. Rory nodded. "And wolves don't pass any sexual diseases so condoms are foreign concept." Rory said.

"Condoms?" I asked. Rory's face fell at that. "Protection, but I'm a virgin and never used them. I was saving it. . . for you." Rory said. I nodded. Rory smiled as I began to eat my mac and cheese. "I'm going home for Valentine's day, would you mind if you came with?" Rory asked.

"Home?" I asked. "Greenburg, meet my parents. They're sweet and are werewolves. You can also see the life of a pack. Potentially your life." Rory said. 'Our life. Living with Rory. Wow, that went far.' That thought scared me yet intrigued me.

When I came to NYC I never thought of where I'd go when I graduated. "Yes, I'll go with you." I told him with a small smile causing a grin to erupt on Rory's face. "Thank you." Rory said taking another bite. "No problem." I told him and Rory smiled at that.

"So how many years have you been in college?" I asked. "Two, this is my second year." Rory said with a grin. "So how old are you?" I asked. "Turning twenty, how about you?" Rory asked. "It's not polite to ask a lady her age." I told him with a smile.

"I gave you mine." Rory replied. 'We should just tell him our age already.' 'Eager to please?' 'Yes I am.' "I'm nineteen." I told him. "First year of college?" Rory asked. "I took a year off and went to Paris." I told him and Rory nodded. "How was Paris?" Rory asked.

"Pretty, maybe we can go there together. It is the city of love." I told him and Rory nodded. "Been on a private jet before?" Rory asked. "You have a private jet?" I asked. "My dad owns one. He bought it for travel. He goes out once a year with my mom." Rory responded.

I nodded. "Never been on one." I told him. 'Now I want to be on one. Specifically with Aries and Rory.' "Well we can go to Paris on that one day. It's a date, I'll look for a nice opening." Rory said with a smile on his face.

"Can't wait." I told him and Rory grinned at that. "First we got to meet my parents. We'll be leaving soon for that. My mother's name is Danielle and father is Jackson. Alpha and Luna of the pack." Rory said. I smiled and nodded. "Can't wait for it." I told him making Rory grin.

"I'm sure my mom will love you. She wanted a daughter, but never got one and has been happy when some of us found our mates. She'll substitute you for a daughter." Rory said. 'That sounds sweet, I can't wait to meet Danielle.' "Maybe you can meet my foster parents one day." I told him.

"It's a date." Rory said with a big grin on his face as we finished up our mac and cheese then Rory and I finished the rest before he rinsed out the plates. Then we headed out to the couch to just watch some stupid movie and cuddle. And that's exactly what we did.

1402. Trying to get this book going and finish it. I am finished with Satan's Sacrifice just have to publish the epilogue so I need to finish this book. Until next time finishing marshmallows.
