(Based on Ball Jointed Doll (Harry) by Nicole Dollanganger)
The doll lay on the ground all busted and broken.
I had wanted to show him my most prized possession.
And he broke it.
Memories had been lost within a few seconds.
Porcelain in shards on the asphalt.
Everything my parents worked for.
Everything I begged for.
Everything I promised to be careful with.
Gone.
I took a deep, quivering breath and fell to my knees, picking up as many pieces to the doll as I could.
Small shards buried into the skin on my fingers, making me bleed.
Blood and tears fell and mixed on the concrete underneath me.
There was no fixing her.
