And I'm Stuck With You?

*Lucy's POV*

It's such a pretty day today in Magnolia! It's winter, the best season of them all! The ground is shimmering white! The crunch of the snow under my feet is oddly soothing. The snow was lightly falling. It's beautiful.

     I was walking to the guild. I needed to get out of the apartment, especially to see the gorgeous scenery. Who new Magnolia was this pretty? I smiled to myself, I wonder what's happening at the guild...

     Of course.

     I walked in, Gray was shirtless trying to fight Natsu. "Gray-sama you're very handsome but it's winter! You might catch a cold! Here, Juvia made Gray-sama a scarf!" Juvia was trying to get Gray to stop. "Oi! You're an ice wizard yet you can't even stand the cold?! You really are a princess!!" Natsu was laughing holding his stomach. "Shutup Flamebrain!"

     I laughed to myself and walked to the bar, it's no different than any other day. That's good. "Lu-Chan!" I turned around and saw Levy waving me over. "What is it Levy-Chan?" She rummaged through her pile of books and found a large black one, "I wanted to ask earlier but I forgot, I'm helping Erza because her equips aren't working very well," she opened the book to a certain page, "can you run to the potion store, not far from here, and get these." I scanned through the ingredients, they looked pretty easy to find, "sure, of course I'll help!" Levy thanked me and started to rummage through her books again.

"Luce!" Not long after, a certain dragon slayer noticed me, "yes Natsu?" He stopped fighting with Gray and jogged up to me, I was leaving the guild. "You just got here, where you going?" I pointed to the black book in my hands, "Levy needs me to get some items for her." He nodded and started to walk with me, "then I'll go too." I decided not to argue, a little company won't hurt.

We ran to a couple of stores and we found all the ingredients, except one. It was some kind of herb, I guess it's pretty rare. "Luce, I heard there's a shop nearby when you're leaving Magnolia. We should check." I nodded, this is probably the last shop in Magnolia.

"Hello?" We walked in and saw a lady, she was past her mid-ages. We showed her the picture of the herb, hoping she had it. "Oh, yes I do have that in stock." Natsu and I looked at her relieved, "really?!" She nodded, "but there's many boxes full of herbs piled up in the back, that's a rare one. So it'll be a little harder to find." We agreed to help, it can't be that hard.

...it's been two hours since we entered the shop. I've looked through 16 boxes, Natsu's looked through 23. "You have anything yet?" I shouted from the pile I was buried in. "Nothing Luce." I heard him respond. We've been at this for so long, will we really find it? It's already starting to get dark.

"Oi! Is this it?!" Natsu shouted suddenly. I jumped up and rummaged my way through towards his voice. When I found him, he was standing, holding the herb we needed. "Yes! That's the one!" We jumped in joy. I payed for the herb while Natsu grabbed all of our other items. I just want to get back.

"It's starting to snow more." Natsu said while we were walking back to the guild. "Yea, the snow on the ground is really deep too." It was 2 feet high, we had to shift our way through the snow. Natsu held most of the bags, I felt kind of bad. "Hey Natsu, why don't you just stay at my apartment tonight? Once we get back to the guild, it'll be too far to walk all the way back to your house. You sneak in anyway." He laughed but nodded, "that's true. Okay then."

We dropped the items off at the guild. I wanted to get out of the cold so we quickly left to my apartment. I grabbed my keys and unlocked my door. I glared at Natsu, making sure he walked through the door behind me and not through the window. "Ahh!~ Home sweet home! It's so warm in here!" I took my jacket and boots off, then fell on my couch. Natsu laughed, "you better change first, your clothes are a little damp." He's right, I really don't want to get a cold. I went into the room and changed my clothes, when I came out, Natsu had warmed soup up for us. I smiled as I sat down, "I was hungry too!" He laughed at sat down across me.

We talked while we ate, Natsu comes by often, so some of his clothes are here. He changed into them and continued eating. It was nice.

Suddenly we heard a loud thump outside. Natsu looked at me, then got up to check. He tried to push the front door open but it wouldn't budge. "Is everything okay?" I walked up behind him. He stopped, "the door won't open." We both tried to push it open, I caught a glimpse of snow piled up, that's why it wouldn't open. "Natsu can you melt the snow that's in the way?" He looked through the creek and saw the snow, "I can, but I'll have to burn your door too." I shook my head, we'll freeze without the door. "C'mon sit down," Natsu motioned me back to the table, "I'm sure it'll melt by morning." I nodded, he's right, the sun will melt it.

     We finished eating, it was a long day of searching so we decided to go to sleep. Natsu slept on the couch, while I was on my bed. I just need to rest.

     "...Luce."

     "Luce!"

     I woke up startled, Natsu was shaking me. "Wh-what?!" He pointed towards my bedroom door, "it's morning, let's check if we can open the door." It all came back, Natsu and I couldn't open my door last night. I jumped up and ran to the door with him. We pushed the door again.

     It was the same.

     There was no progress over night. The snow was still the same height. "It's morning right? Shouldn't the sun be up?" Natsu shrugged, "let's go check your window?" I nodded. We got up and walked to my bedroom. Natsu walked towards the window and tried to pull it up. It didn't budge either. I looked at him, "can you melt the snow?" He shook his head and looked at me, "do you want me to burn the whole apartment down?" I glared at him but sighed after. Natsu layed on my bed in defeat, "So we're stuck in here?" I sat down by him.

     "And I'm stuck with you?"

     "Oi! If you were to get stuck in a house with someone, you know you'd rather have it be me." I crossed my arms and looked at him, "is that so?" He looked at the ceiling, "yea, I'm always with you, and I've already stayed here a few times. How could it be weird? Unless of course you're more comfortable with Gray or Erza?" I looked at the window and thought about it.

     "Yea, you're right."
