The sun rose into the sky as the birds chirped and the trees made music in the wind. There stood a boy who was using leaves to craft false shinobi tools. He had dark green hair as he was dressed in a white tank top with a black jacket over it with shorts.
The boy rushed over to a tree as he looked at it with a smile. The tree had marks and dents in it from the boy's training sessions. "Tomorrow's the big day isn't it..." he looked at his false weapons as he placed it near a tree.
"Sariku!" a voice came from down the trail, a girl came down running with her dark brown hair flowing in the air and her kunoichi tanktop with already layer beneath it."Sariku!" she came to a stop in front of him as she seemed mad."My mom told me to get you for dinner, but you're always out here!" She pulled his ear as she dragged him all the way to their home. "OW! Ow!" Shouted Saiku as he was dragged to the ground. "SUKARI IT REALLY HURTS!",he shouted most of the way home.
They arrived at their home, a small part of a giant clan complex, as Sukari dragged Sariku through the living room to the dinner table. At the table, bowls of steaming rice covered with hot butter, a plate of pulled pork covered with teriyaki sauce, and some bowls of salty ramen.Their aroma filled the room, as Sariku got up rubbing his stinging ear trying to ease the pain.
Sukari sat to the right of Sariku, as Sukari's Mom came into the room with a couple cups and a kettle of tea, placing the cups first and then pour tea into each cup. Then she sat down across from them as she gestured them to give thanks for their meal. As soon as they finished giving thanks, Sariku began to dig into the food as Sukari and her mother ate at a normal pace, unlike Sariku.
"Sukari. Sariku. Are you two ready to start the academy?" Suakri's mother asked in a kind and polite tone, after drinking some of her tea."Yeah!" They both said in unison, Sariku having a giant grin on his face and Sukari doing a fist in the air in excitement.
Sukari's mother looked at them little surprised, a gentle smile formed on her face. The rest of the night was filled with joy and laughter as they eventually headed to bed. Sukari's mother turned off the light in their room as she closed the door.
The night passed as Sariku just couldn't sleep as he was just one step closer to his dream.
