"Evelyn! Hey." I look up from my book sadly and find chase jogging over to where I'm sitting.

"Hi" I manage to get out

"What are you doing in here?do you need a ride home?" He looks at me with concern on my face.

"What does it look like I'm

doing, and no my brothers taking me thanks though." I hope I didn't sound to mean.

"Oh ok I'll just read my book too, do you mind?"

Yes,"no, it's fine" he nodded and sat down across from me.

We sat in silence while we read. I glanced up to look at him and saw he was staring at me already.

"What?" I asked, he looked so creepy as his eyes never left my face. A look of recognition appeared on his face and then he shook his head.

"Nothing,it's none of your business" he said harshly

"Jeez sorry just wondering." I shook my head and started to read again. I felt a hand on my arm and I looked up to find chase just inches away from me leaning over the table."

"Hey, I'm sorry I was just thinking and you caught me off guard." He said kindly. About what? I wanted to ask him but decided against it.

A loud cough erupted from the other side of the library.

" hey, sorry to interrupt but Evelyn we gotta go." I heard Zach say, but I was practically engrossed into chases eyes I wanted to know what was behind them, what was he thinking? Finally I took my eyes away and started walking towards Zach, he held the biggest smile I have ever seen on his face.

"Well bye umm..."

"Chase"

"Oh, bye chase"

All of a sudden I heard a laugh then the lights turned off,

"What's happening" I said in a scared voice, I grabbed Zachs arm and clung on to him"Zach"

"Its okay come on."Zach started pulling me with his arm, we were walking when I stepped in something slippery and wet when I bent down to look closer I saw red, I let out a shriek.

"Evelyn!" I heard not Zach but Chase.

"Are you okay?" I heard Zach next to me.

" yah I just stepped in blood, chase get over hear!" I whisper yelled

"Blood, oh my gosh Evelyn the janitor died in here in this library" Zach said frantically. I felt Chase as he stood beside me.

" yah I know Zach now let's get out of here before we do too" I say in anger

"Here follow me" Chase says, he starts to walk way so I grab his arm too so I know where he is. I can practically feel the smirk on his face when I realize I'm holding his bicep, oh gosh he's strong.

"Wow I know their hot but seriously let's be a little modest Evelyn your brothers right there ." He says with amusement.

"Eww, no can you for once not be so cocky I didn't know where you were."

"Guys really?" Zach says behind us "we might die and you are acting like we are in a strip club" I rolled my eyes, but then realized he couldn't see me.

Then I heard a loud noise from the other side of the library getting closer.

"Run" Chase says
