Ch6

During first hour I feel chases eyes on the back of my head, I've been dodging him since Emily said they were friends. I know I will have to talk to him at some point but I really don't know what to say. I keep my eyes on the board until I feel something hit the side of my head I look down in my desk to see a crumbled paper, it couldn't of been from Chase though because It hit me on the side I turn to my right to see the stolen jock of the school, which of course is the quarterback, really hot, dated the head cheerleader pretty basic stuff. He is looking at me with a smirk, his eyes travel to the paper in my desk and I turn opening it up."

"Hey I know I've Been mean to you before but I promise you that was only because I was dating Celia and I broke up with her because I finally realized she was trying to change me I hope we could start again:)"

I look over at Nathan, he is staring back at the teacher putting on a straight face. The bell for the end of class ends and I get up. Nathan glances at me as he leaves the room.

" what was that about?" I hear Chase say, great because of Nathan distracting me I forgot that I'm trying to avoid Chase.

" nothing he was just trying to make amends with things from the past." I say

"Are you trying to ignore me or something? Your acting really weird." He says curious

" well kinda I mean the first day you get here at this school weird things start happening and I don't it seems kinda suspicious."

"Oh, so you think that thing in the library was all me."

"No! I just I don't know what to think about that I really don't want to think about It I mean it could've just been a raccoon or something."

" I don't think a raccoon is that big, so if you don't think it's me why are you avoiding me?"

" I guess I don't know what to say to you after that."

" you don't have to say anything I'm just happy we are alive, Evelyn we should go back to our regular lives or you should I can handle this myself." He says

"Wait what do you mean your going to handle this?"

"I'm going to see what that thing was inside the library."

"And how are ongoing to do that?"

"I'm way smarter then you think Evelyn."

He walks out the door with one last glance, why is everyone doing that?! I walk out the room myself and he's disappeared in the crowd of people.
