Radar backed away from Stella, his eyes welling up with tears. "You... You didn't just-"
"Oh but I did!" Stella interrupted angrily. "I said you're a coward. You always have to hide behind Jesse's back for security, you always have to try and make others happy by making a fool of yourself which, by the way, NEVER worked so you can stop doing that any day, and you've NEVER been considered as Jesse's friend, so why even try to live any longer?!"
The people in the streets stopped and stared at Stella, who had Radar by the collar of his shirt now, and was glaring angrily at him. She growled and pushed Radar back, letting go of his shirt and kicking him in the stomach. "No wonder nobody likes you, Randall." She spat.
"It's RADAR!" He yowled, his voice cracking.
Radar scrambled up off the ground and ran off, everyone clearing a path for him as he ran, tears rolling down his cheeks.
He finally found his way to the entrance of town, but he didn't stop there. He sprinted away from the town itself, away from Stella and her cruel words. He wanted the torment from her to end, but he knew she would just keep coming back.
He stopped for a moment beside a snow-covered tree, trying to catch his breath. Running and crying was never a good idea, no matter how much stamina you had.
He looked behind him and saw that he was maybe 300 blocks away from the entrance to the town. But he had no desire to return to Beacontown for a while.
Radar was so caught up in his thoughts he didn't even hear the snow crunch behind him as an assassin snuck closer. As he went to turn away, the assassin stabbed the lengthened blade of his diamond sword into Radar's side, allowing him to scream out in pain. He purposely dug the blade deeper into his prey's side, earning another blood-curdling scream as a reward.
Radar allowed tears of pain to roll down his cheeks as the blade dug deeper into his side, slowly making it's way to his fast-beating heart. He begged the assassin for mercy, feeling faint and weak. "Please... Don't kill me! I'll do anything! ANYTHING!" He sobbed.
"Fine." He yanked the blade out of Radar's side, then stood up. "You'll die a slow and painful death."
Radar watched as he walked away, then slowly stood up and limped away from there, looking over the edge of a cliff before collapsing over the edge.
Then everything went dark.
~Back in Beacontown~
Jesse sighed as he walked away from Nell's home, exhausted from everything that had happened. He hadn't seen Radar in a while, and was getting a little antsy. He had asked Petra to watch over the clock while he and Lukas roamed around Beacontown, and she had happily agreed.
Jesse sighed and looked at Lukas, and was about to tell him that they should head back until Jack ran up, yelling something about Radar. "Jesse!" He yelled.
"Jack? What's wrong?" Jesse replied.
"It's Radar. Someone said they saw him run out of Beacontown. They say that Stella was being a bit cruel to him, but they could've never fathomed, and I can't either, what happened after he got, say, 300 blocks out of town."
"That's not very far from Beacontown, I presume." Lukas said, worried.
"Not really." Jack replied.
"Finish what you were saying!" Jesse yelled, shaking Jack. "What happened when he got out?"
"Some of the people say that he was stabbed by someone with a really long diamond sword. He was dressed completely in black. But there's more. After the guy or girl ran away, Radar limped off and at some point screamed again. There's a line of blood following his footsteps!"
"Oh dear." Jesse gulped.
"We can't just leave him out there, Jesse!" Lukas exclaimed. "We have to help him!"
"JESSE!"
Jesse and Lukas turned around to see Petra running at them. "The clock disappeared!" She exclaimed.
"Rats!" Jesse yelled. "Now we have a predicament. We need to get the clock back, but we also need to find Radar before it's too late!"
"What do we do?" Lukas asked.
"Well..."
What should happen next? Should Jesse...
A. Save Radar first then retrieve the clock.
B. Retrieve the clock first then save Radar
C. Have everyone else go to retrieve the clock but take Lukas with him and save Radar.
D. Leave Radar to die.
