Chapter 2

*Jess' POV*

I pulled up in our driveway and parked next to my motorcycle. once we're all inside I say

"get dressed , we have less than 30 minutes"

everyone parted their separate ways. i jog up the steps and turn right into the bathroom to shower. while letting the water heat up, I grab a change of clothes and my essentials. after stripping it of my clothes, I step into the shower and cleanse myself. 10 minutes later I'm done and I wrap myself in a towel and begin to braid my hair. after drying off I change into my outfit. Since it's summer in California I decided to wear high waisted shorts , a green day band tee , and high top converse. I blow dry my hair while still in the braids to make it wavy and pop some gum in my mouth as i make my way downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and look at What everyone is wearing. Andreas wearing black and white striped shorts, a "let's roll" tank top, combats and a snapback. Jenns wearing Nirvana muscle tank, distressed shorts and white converse. Alison is wearing a black crop top, black shorts , converse and a red flannel around her waist. and finally Sammy was wearing a "pop that thang" muscle tee , combats , and white shorts. I grab my phone , keys , and money

"ready to go?"

they all nodded

"then What are you waiting for ? let's go !"

*10 minutes later*

we finally got to starbucks at about 1:28. they there yet so we went to order. we all got a different version of a vanilla bean frappachino. Just as the barista gave me my drink, I heard a familiar voice say my name. I turn around and see my best friend. I smile the biggest I have in a while.

"Kian?"

I run towards him and jump into his arms, dropping my drink in the process. my eyes started to water

"I've missed you so much, where have you been?"

he puts me down and I wipe off a couple of tears that escaped my eyes and said "we'll talk about it later Okay?" he nodded. I looked behind him

"so, are you going to introduce me to your friends?" I asked smirking

he raised an eyebrow and asked

"I don't know , are you going to introduce me to yours ?"

I laughed and pointed to each of my friends

"this is Andrea , Jenn , Samantha , and Alison. and guess what boys " I leaned towards his friends "they're all single" I winked and they all laughed. Kian pointed to all of his friends

"this is Connor , Ricky , Trevor , Jc , and Sam" then he said "almost all of them are single" and he winked

"which ones taken? " I asked and Jc raised his hand. I walked over to him and pinched his cheek.

"too bad, your pretty cute"

he blushed. I looked over at Connor. hmm he looks familiar.. eh I'll figure it out later.

I turned to my friends and his,

"Ladies , gentleman, mingle" then I turned to Kian , grabbed his wrist while dragging him to a nearby booth and said "we have some catching up to do"

*Connors POV*

thank god she didn't recognize me. that wouldn't have been good. I'm surprised Kian didn't say anything. I'll have to thank him later..
