Chapter 11

*Jess' POV*

I was 2 seconds away from freaking out when my phone buzzed. as I walked away I turned the screen so Dylan could see who it was. when he saw Andreas name, he nodded. thank god it wasn't Sam. I walked into what I'm guessing was Dylan's room and clicked answer.

•phone conversation•

J- hey what's up Andrea?

S- it isn't Andrea babe

J- *whispers* hey babe, I'm gonna pretend you're Andrea in case they're listening

S- okay baby, when are you coming home?

J- I'm staying the weekend

S-*groans*

J- I know, it's sucks but I still wanna talk to you so text me okay?

S- yeah but change my name to a girl name in case any of them try to read over your shoulder

J- sounds good, ill see you later. bye Andrea

S- bye baby

• end of phone conversation•

I open the door and Dylan plus his friends Isaac and Scott fall at my feet. I laugh.

"didn't anyone teach you not to listen to other peoples conversations" I step over them and make my way to the bowl in the kitchen where Dylan keeps his keys. I grab them and I'm about to be out the door when Derek stops me.

"where do you think you're going?" he was like twice my size and had a deep scary voice, he honestly terrified me, but I'd never admit that. I rolled my eyes and said

"if I'm going to be stuck here for the weekend, shouldn't I be able to go get some clothes and stuff?" he nodded and said

"yes but the twins and I are coming with you" I literally groan.

"fine. lets go"

we make our way to Dylan's worn down light blue jeep. I sigh, he literally got my dream car. I climb into the drivers seat while Derek's In the passenger seat and the twins are in the back.the car ride was the most awkward thing I have ever experienced. by the time we got to the apartment I was so ready for 10 minutes without them. I unbuckled my seatbelt and so did they. before anyone got out of the car I stopped and turned to face of them
"um where do you guys think you're going?" they looked at me like it was obvious.
"you didn't think we'd actually let you go in there alone did you?" I groaned again as I slammed the door and made my way up the sidewalk, but before I got in the twins went on either side of me and Derek went behind. I rolled my eyes and groaned
"is this really necessary?" they all nod and I'm about to open the door when I mentally freak out. what if they're drinking or something? they would for sure tell Dylan. I reach in my back pocket to look for my phone but it wasn't there.
"looking for this?" I turn around to see Derek holding my phone and I went to reach for it, but the twins held me back
"you can go without your phone for 10 minutes" he smirked and I walked into my apartment. I don't know what I was expecting but this wasn't it.

it was quiet, peaceful almost. nothing but faint background noise. I walked to the living room with Derek close on my heels and the the twins on either side of me. I was expecting just the girls but everyone was here."hey guys" I said and they all turned around. excited looks on all of their faces until they saw Dylan's friends. Sam got up and walked over to me. as he hugged me, he whispered in my ear,
"I knew you'd make them bring you here" I laughed and I enjoyed every second of his warm embrace until I felt him get pulled off of me. Immediately I knew it was Dylan's friends.
"ok Jess hurry up and get your clothes" Derek said trying to be the boss. I rolled my eyes and headed towards the stairs. Aiden and Derek stayed downstairs and Ethan followed me to my bedroom. As I was packing my clothes and essentials I remembered that I hadn't talked to him yet.
"why did you come up with me Ethan? I thought you and Aiden went everywhere together" I said sarcasm dripping off my tongue. he rolled his eyes and laughed.
"you never fail to amuse me Jess" I was confused by what he said and quite frankly kinda creeped out. I think he could tell. as I slung my bag under my shoulder he walked past me and whispered
"dont worry babe, im gay" and he walked out. my eyes widened in suprise before I laughed at myself. as I was walking out I unzipped my bag a little bit to check that I had my gum container in there. I had finished that gum a long time ago and chose to put my hard earned money in it. at the moment it has $850 cash rolled up and bound together with a rubber band. just in case, ya know? I walked to the living room to say goodbye to everyone and told them all to pass my number around and text me. once the goodbyes were done I turned to Derek and the twins
"okay I'm ready" they nodded and we were just about to leave when I heard Sam yell

"WAIT" i turned and walked over to Sam while the others surprisingly got into the car. I raised my eye brows and he slid his hands into my back pockets. I put my arms around his neck and he touched our foreheads together.
"I've missed you babe" his minty breath hit my face and sent shivers down my spine. instead of responding I crashed my lips onto his. the kiss was slow and passionate. then all of the sudden a car horn honked. I jumped a little bit in surprise. I saw Derek and them laughing so I turned and flicked them off. that only made them laugh more. I turned back to Sam and he put his hands on my waist.
"Sam, what are we?" He thinks for a little and says
"How about we figure that out when he lets you come home" I nod and he kissed my forehead then went inside. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I walked back to the jeep.I started the car and headed towards Dylan's house but more like a different way."hold on boys, we have one more stop before we go home"
