The Battle with Water, and Fire

The world around us changed into multiple colors around us.

I smiled, getting ready to throw my card.

Trap cards...

Always a good way to win.

I pulled out another card before I threw mine down with Dans.

And ignored the shock on there faces as it hit the ground, fading into it.

" That card?!" Aqua questioned.

I nodded, and threw my card out.

Marucho even looked shocked at my actions.

" Bakugan brawl! Mantis stand." I threw mine out on my card.

Dan snapped out of it, throwing his first bakugan on the ground, which was a serpenoid.

And landed on his card.

Aquos Mantis: 300 gt

Pyrus Serpenoid: 310 gt

I smirked, throwing down an ability card.

" Hurricane!" I screamed out.

The storm flew around his serpenoid, making it appear on mine.

" Gate card open!"

The gate card opened, eliminating some of the serpenoids gt as he got hit with a waterwave, making my mantis's gt grow.

In the end, Dan lost.

And he didn't get his bakugan back.

Marucho looked at me in absolute horror.

But, why?

I set out another card, throwing my bakugan shortly after.

I just wanted to get this done and over with...

" Aqua stand!"

Aqua: 500 gt

Dans face turned angry, and he threw down another another bakugan on his card.

Pyrus Triceritops: 450 gt

I groaned aloud. He was trying to make this difficult.

I threw down my serpenoid on Dans card.

I could risk him, I can't risk Aqua.

Aquos Serpenoid: 310 gt

Dan smirked, raising his arm as he opened his gate card.

" Gate card open!"

I watched the fire attack with ease, and as my serpenoid was sent back to me by one attack made from his Triceritops.

He retreated his bakugan, and brought out Drago.

He seemed to be, chatting to him.

I was getting impatient.

But Aqua lashed out, not me.

" Hey! You wanted to brawl! So brawl already!" Aqua screamed, rustling his wings around.

Dan gritted his teeth, throwing down Drago onto my card.

Pyrus Dragonoid: 500 gt

Huh, so the same as Aqua.

I opened my gate card open. Making it boost all Aquos bakugan.

Aquos Dragonoid: 550 gt

But, Dan had plans of his own as he flipped an ability card.

It was, ancient.

That's when I realized, Drago was an evolved bakugan.

" BOOSTED DRAGON!!"

I frowned, holding out an ability card as Dragos gt went up to 600.

" Waterfall!"

Aqua smirked, him dodging because of the ability card, and attacked with his wings, creating water to flood Drago underneath.

And Dan looked horrified as Drago disappeared all together.

" What...?"

" Check the monitor Daniel." I stated, catching Aqua with a smile at my victory.

He looked at his watch, and saw in horror at Aquas 650 gt, beating Drago.

The world changed back, and Dan collapsed to his knees.

"...Drago..."

I looked at him, confused.

Runo grabbed me by the shoulder, slapping me down to the ground

" Who are you?!"

I held my cheek as Aqua sped out of my pocket, indicating to back off.

And, all of Dans bakugan slid out of my pocket.

Runo looked in disbelief, as did everyone else.

" B-But, how..."

I stood up, fumed as I rubbed my cheek.

" It's called the stealer card. A fun thing we did back at Japan! We would lay the card down, and the winner got the losers bakugan and can either give them back, or teach them more useful moves if you're a teacher!"

I threw Dans bakugan to the ground, stuffing Aqua in my pocket as Drago raced to Dan.

And walked out as tears started to corner my eyes...

What had I done?
