Chapter 1: Where it all began

Kat's POV

"mom, what's happening?" I say as I hear loud banging noises on the door.

"Nothing, baby just relax okay? Everything is gonna be okay" she said as she took my hand a dragged me to her room, the motion making me drop the doll l had in my hand.

"Okay, baby we're gonna play a game of hiding and seek, you're gonna hide in the closet and don't come out until I say so alright? She rushed out as she quickly hid me in the closet at the same time as I heard the door burst open.

"Mom, I don't want to play this game, please! I screamed, tears rolling down my face uncontrollably. I knew something was happening but I couldn't quite understand what it was, but I didn't like it.I just wanted this game to be over so I can go back to playing with my dolls.

"LUCIA, YOU'RE DEAD YOU FUCKING WHORE" I heard a man yell from the living room. At the sound of his voice, my mom froze and fear was evident in her gaze.

"Okay kat, I need you to listen to me very closely okay? She whispered as she locked the door. Taking my princess backpack and filling it with clothes and shoes. "If anything happens to me I need you to promise me that you're gonna leave this town yeah?

"No mom, I don't want to leave without you" I cried out as she caressed my face. I don't want to leave my mother here alone. Whatever this is we could have fought it together.

"NO!, listen to me kat! I need you leave do you understand"

"Bu-"I tried telling her before she cut me off

"No buts Katherine, you're gonna do as I say and that's final" She stared into my eyes and said "okay now don't come out no matter what happens, I love you baby so so much" She hugged me and gave me a kiss that felt like a goodbye kiss but I didn't want to think that. Mom was a strong woman and we were gonna be okay.

She shushed me and closed the door when I heard a loud bang on the bedroom door. "OPEN UP YOU SON OF A BITCH BEFORE I BREAK THIS FUCKING DOOR DOWN" the man screamed.

My mom opened the door and in came 3 men. They were all dressed in black and had black masks covering their face, only showing their eyes.

"Well look what we have here" One of the mans spoke, the coldness of his voice sending shivers down my spine. He grabbed my moms chin and tilted her head upwards kissing her cheek "What a fucking waste" he said slapping her, the impact sending her to the floor.

I wanted to scream and hit them but I knew mom wouldn't like that. So I stayed where I was. The feeling of knowing I can't do anything making me feel useless.

The man pulled out a gun a pointed it towards her "I really hate to do this lucy, but you gave me no option"

"Please Raamses, don't do this I'm begging you!" My mom pleaded as she took a small piece of fabric from the bottom of his pants, begging for her life. The man shook his head and laughed.

"Nothing is gonna make me change my mind, you dirty bitch" He lowered his voice "You make a mistake, you pay the price. You already know how this works"

He rose the gun again towards my mom revealing a tattoo of a scorpion on his wrist, but before he pulled the trigger I saw my mom tilt her head towards the closet and send me a smile. Assuring me everything was gonna be okay. It wasn't really noticeable but it was there.

The man that she called Raamses, pulled the trigger and I saw my mothers hand, that was weakly grabbing his pants fall to the ground. The sound of the gun making my ears hurt. I took my hands and covered my ears. This can't be happening, no this is all just a dream. When I wake up all this will be gone and I will get up to mom making my favorite pancakes with bacon as she kisses my cheek and tells me to have a nice day in school.

All 3 men got out the room as soon as Raamses shot my mom. I waited until the front door closed before opening the closet door and running towards my mom. She was laying down on the floor barely breathing.

"MOM!" I screamed and sat down next to her, taking her hands in my small ones and slowly intertwining our fingers. "You cant leave me alone mom, please... I need you" I begged as she was slowly dying in my arms.

"Everything is gonna be okay, baby," My mom said as she took her hand and placed it on my cheek, wiping the tears from my face. "Now, I need you to go in my drawer and take out an envelope" I did as she said and ran towards the drawer to get the envelope.

"In the envelope, you'll find a lot of money, I need you to use that money wisely and live your life away from here".She was finding it difficult to breathe now. "Remember that I love you and that I'm always gonna be with you" A smile taking over her face as she said those words.

Those were the last words I heard from her as she slowly stopped breathing for good
"NOOOOOOO MOM YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" I cried out as I held her head in my arms. I stayed by her side for about an hour. Letting the darkness consume me. Everything had changed now.

I'm alone.

I looked at my moms face one last time before grabbing my backpack and the money.

I'll find that son of a bitch and make him pay for what he did to my mom.

I will get my revenge.

Hello again!! I just finished my first chapter OMG IS THIS REAL??

This chapter was hard to write cause of course I don't have experience what's so ever but I hope you guys really enjoyed it... well not the part of her dying but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

I'm gonna start the story of her being a girl and the difficulties she's been through first and then we'll get to the good stuff *cue evil laughter*
