I look in my mirror as I brush my curls. Her skin is pale but her eyes are tired. Deep dark circles adorn her hazel eyes, yet her beauty still outshines all of her imperfections. I finish brushing my hair and spray some perfume on me. I slide my feet into brown ankle boots and put on a leather jacket. I grab my bag, which contains everything from my keys to my wallet, and head out to my car.

Once I'm inside my Insignia I drive off. I turn on the radio and head to the HQ. It's a cold windy day but I pay no attention because my thoughts are elsewhere. The revolve around a certain individual.

I wonder if he finally put two and two together and realized who I was. I'm sure he has. He wouldn't have looked that shocked if he hadn't realized it.Anyways, I shouldn't be thinking about this at all, since I don't care about him anymore. I have my new life now and there is no place for him in it. Ive been reborn from the ashes and everything is going well.

There is a new meaning in my life and I won't allow anyone to take it from me.

I shift my gears and step on the accelerator. I fly through the dark and empty streets of Seoul.

I know what I've left behind, but I could care less.

I head to a salon named, Mad Hatters and Pandas, that is owned by my best friend. I enter the salon and it's full of clients. I sigh before I head to the couch, reach for a magazine and settle in. Without even blinking I open it and find a picture of myself in there.

"Omo! Seyi-ah!" I hear someone shout cheerfully. It's a male and he's strolling towards me. I find myself in his embrace a few seconds later.

"Hello oppa," I say as I return the hug. I catch a whiff of his Channel cologne.

Huang Zitao is one of my close friends and happens to be the owner of this salon. He's tall, sexy as hell, but has a kind heart. Anyone who doesn't know him would probably label him as a 'badass', but they don't know that deep down he's a softie that owns a hair salon. Titles are so overrated. Right now, his dark black hair is styled upwards. His nose and mouth add to his prince-like appearance. Too bad that he's to high-maintenance for any girl to date.

"You're back?" he continues as he leads me to the back room. We sit there and pull out the present that I got for him from Monaco. A silver bracelet that has his name engraved on it. "Wow! It's beautiful! Thank you, dear!" he exclaims are he hugs me once again.

Just then, a black cat walks in and jumps on my lap. He purrs loudly and cuddles into my arm. "Ace. What is it? I as as I pet him. The cat is such a sassy thing... just like its owner.

"I bet he wants his present too," Tao teases. I giggle and hand over a silver collar and a few cat toys. Ace allows me to put on the collar and jumps off afterwards. Both Tao and I snicker. That's so like Ace.

"Well," Tao begins as he stops laughing. "I guess I should let you go meet him," he says with a hint of sadness.

I stand up and give him a small look. To tell you quite honestly, I knew he had feelings for me... but my heart just didn't respond. Maybe if I had met him sooner. I sincerely feel sorry for him but I can't return the feelings. It's not possible.

"I'll be back some other day," I promise as I hug him. He returns the hug and I allow his hands to trace the outlines of my back. I inhale the fresh scent of his shampoo and body wash before letting go.

"Will you be going with BlackJack tonight?" he asks as he pushes his black locks of hair to the side.

"Yeah. I'll see you around," I say as I place a soft kiss on his cheek. I walk back to the entrance of the salon and get in my car. In just a short time, I reach the building. I successfully park and dial his number.
