The Story Of Juvia's True Love

Chapter 8

- The next morning -

Juvia's POV

I woke up feeling different...in a good way. I felt warm and fuzzy on the inside. I looked at the clock...8:25 p.m. I should get up. I covered my self with my blanket and thought about last night. AH! I've got to forget about it.

I got up and took a shower getting dressed in the process. I walked out the door and was frozen. Standing there was a serious Gray and next to him was Natsu which was smirking.

" Uh g-good morning " I said nervously 

" Good morning" They both said at the same time  

" We should go to the beach now shouldn't we Juvia" Natsu said

" Yes, r-right " At that moment he grabbed my hand and ran away into the town leaving Gray behind. We walked into a restaurant and sat down. A few minutes later Gray walked in and looked around until he saw us, his face converted into an angry man's face as a cold atmosphere surrounded him. We both backed up until we hit a wall. Gray grabbed my arm as I shut my eyes tightly hoping that he wouldn't hurt me but to my surprise he only pushed me away.

 He looked at Natsu with eyes saying that he was going to kill him. I want to stop him but what can I do? Then an idea came to my head. I grabbed Gray's shoulders and turned him around. I looked him in the eye and kissed his cheek and hugged him. 

The environment started to warm up and soon I felt his arms wrap around me. I blushed and pushed him away slowly. It seemed to have calmed him down. I realized that I had forgotten about Natsu so I turned around to face him and he was scowling but in a way I was sure that it was because he wasn't able to brawl with Gray.

I giggled and we all sat down, ate breakfast, and discuss a plan to defeat the sea monster. When we were finished we walked quietly towards the beach house from last night and and knocked on the door which was opened after a few seconds. 

I've got to say when I first met these people they seemed suspicious but I think they were just tired besides we were tired too, at least some of us... anyways. They opened the door and welcomed us into the beach house.

 " Hello, welcome and thank you very much for helping us out" the oldest man said "My name is Jerry and this is my wife Kelly" He introduced us to his wife which seemed a bit younger than him , maybe a year or two. 

" Hi my name is Juvia and these are my partners Natsu and Gray" I introduced us as we all said hi. Then the other people that we had seen the night before came up to us and introduced themselves but that's not important so let's just skip through that.  ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

" So the sea monster should be easy to beat for all of you if you're working together but there is something that you should know about it, it was once a human and once you defeat it you may be killing the person inside " 

" Well... there is a reason for you to want us to kill it right? " Gray asked concerned 

" Yes of course, it actually killed a group of tourists who were having fun near it's resting place and well that's when we decided that it was enough and we needed to put a stop to this." Mary explained

" Then of course we'll kill it and if it somehow survives then we'll bring it to you. " Natsu said

With that we said our goodbyes and left for the beach. I had put on my one of my swimsuits underneath my clothes and when we got to the beach I started undressing and ran towards the water, turning around to see if they were ready but they just stood there looking at me like I was crazy. Then I realized why.

" You don't want your clothes to get ruined do you? Undress yourselves men!" I said in a funny voice. I was happy to hear them chuckle and so the undressed which was just a breathtaking sight but I had to hold myself back. So we commenced with part one of our plan which was the first of two parts. 

Attract the sea monster/human 

We all ran into the water and started splashing around. Soon enough we heard a loud roar and something picked me up. It was the sea monster. I got up and jumped up diving into the water surfacing a few seconds later which seemed to mean a lot of time when it comes to battles with Natsu. He was shooting fire all over the place and Gray was in the process of of freezing the water all around the sea monster including me. I jumped out of the water and grabbed them both and pulled them away. 

" Did you guys forget about part two"

Work together

" Yeah whatever " They both said at the same time so we made a more strong plan with the time that we had. 

Then we were ready ran towards the sea monster, Gray and Natsu running ahead of me and kneeling down using their chosen attacks and powering them towards me. They boosted me up in the air as I channeled their power's energy and fusing it with my while blasting it towards the sea monster. It unbalanced and I dropped along with it but unlike the monster someone caught me. I looked to see who it was but it was actually both of them they looked away in opposite ways and put me down.

We checked to see if the monster was really dead and it was. I turned to look at both of them but they were drop dead tired ( on the sand) . I let them sleep and went to get our reward. I returned to where they were and decided to swim a little bit to relax. When I was done I changed back into my regular clothes and layed down between them falling asleep in the process. We have to return to the guild tomorrow. I hope that Natsu and Gray with forget all about what happened here. This all may just be a bit too much drama and excitement for me and all in just a span of two days. 

When I woke up I looked up and there they were Gray and Natsu were staring at me with faces that definitely needed answer so I sat up and asked what it was and they both looked at each other and then at me. 

" What is our relationship" they said in unison. My eyes widened, how the hell am I supposed to respond to that?!
