Stranger Things 3

Chapter 1

It has been a year since the mind flayer struck on Hawkins. The group of friends finally rests and has a peaceful time. Unfortunately, for Will he continues having quick glances and nightmares of the upside down, but they are less common. Max and Lucas have started dating since the snowball, and every now and then have double dates with mike and Jane (eleven). Eleven has continued to hide with Hopper, only going out a couple of times with her friends, and she has spent her time learning so she could go to a normal school this year. And Dustin, is just Dustin.

"Hey guys!! Let's go to the arcade!" Dustin announces in his walkie talkie, waiting anxiously for an answer. Nothing. "I'll meet you there okay?" He grabs his bike and slowly goes toward the arcade, hoping his friends heard him and meet him there.

"Hey creep!" Max says, once Dustin arrives, apparently she's the only one who heard his message.

"Where are the others?"

"I don't know, I'm not their baby sitter or something." She says rolling her eyes, prepared to enter.

"But you're Lucas girlfriend, aren't you? Grrrrr." Dustin says and gains a laugh and a push from his partner. Both of them enter the arcade, and start playing Dig-Dug. Max is always top score, but Dustin keeps on playing for his revenge on her beating him.

"Hey, uhmm. Can I play?" The two friends turn to look at a small boy, with freckles and brown haired; looking at them.

"Uh... Sure?" Both of them say at the same time, with the same confused expression on their face.

"What's your name?" Max asks.

"Leo." The boy responds, playing without looking at her.

"You're new around here right?" Dustin says watching the new boy play, who is obviously not as good at playing like them.

"Yeah! I'm from Australia." The boy answers, and in that moment he looses. "Dammit it! You guys play." He moves to the side, and Dustin starts playing.

"Do you eat kangaroos for breakfast?" Dustin asks, and max gives a slight punch on the stomach.

"Sorry my friend is a creep." She gives him a death stare, but Dustin keeps on playing.

"It's fine." Leo responds shyly, before he looks at his watch. "I uhmm have to go... See you on school, I guess!" And quickly heads out not giving his new friends a chance to respond.

"That kid is weird." Max says.

"I think he's cool." Dustin answers.

"It's my turn to play." She says and pushes him to the side making him loose.
