“Darn!!”, Sky said as he kicks the dust. He just experienced the worst day in his life. He almost got hit by a car and now, he was involved with a fight against 6 thugs.
“ I could have…”, he paused when he saw a figure behind the tree he is staying. He found out she was a beautiful girl then looked around if there’s someone behind her. But she was alone.
“What do you want?”he is not in the mood for anything right now.
The girl was surprised with the tone he used but showed no fear.
“Y-You’re wounded.” That sweet little voice seems to calm the nerves of him so he was moveless for seconds.
“S-so what? No one cares about me!”, this time, it was the tree’s trunk that he kicked.
“Y-you should rest.”
“No!”
“You should rest.”
“NO!! don’t mess with me will you?”
She approached closer and looked at his eyes intently. “You should rest!”
And before Sky could say a thing, he felt a weakening on his knees so he fell to the ground unconscious.
Yuiko ran out of breath. This is the first time she used her ability to hypnotize. It’s also her first time to meet a man as stubborn as this one. She was born as a vampire but chose not to drink Human’s blood. All her life, she has always been isolated and dependent on blood tablets. And since she hasn’t drunk any real blood before, she was able to control her cravings. Until that day.
The smell of the blood seems so delicious. And though it had dried, she wants to feel it, inside her mouth. She tried to stop herself from going near the guy but her senses won’t cooperate with her. And now, with her red vampire eyes, she stared at him as she leans closer for a bite.
“Huh?”
He was shocked to see a girl leaning so closely to his face. Whether hallucination or not, he saw her red eyes turned purple and her cheeks from pale to pink. She’s blushing and it’s cute.
Yuiko panicked when the guy woke up. She was about to bite him when he opened his blue eyes. She can’t move a muscle and don’t know what to do. Good thing she hadn’t show her fangs yet.
“What are you doing?” Sky already gained his posture and starts to comprehend what he thinks she was doing.
“Huh? N-nothing! I-I was just ahh…”
“Wait! Are you trying to… kiss me?” while sleeping?”
“Huh?!” Yuiko was really surprised with what he said. “You know what? I’m leaving.”
“If you want my kiss, just tell me so! I’ll be…” and she’s gone from his sight.

“I’ll be late if I won’t hurry!” if it’s not for that guy who occupied her mind all night, she could have woke up earlier. She tried to walk as fast as she can but when she was about to turn around a corner a body bumped into her.
“Aww”, as she fell on the floor, her things all messed up.
The guy started to talk, “Could you please look where…” He stopped as soon as Yuiko looked at him.
“Oh. If it isn’t Kiss-Me-While-Sleeping”, He offered his hand to help her but Yuiko ignored him and stood up on her own. She noticed the band aid she put on his eyebrow was still there. He didn’t remove it.
Yuiko picked her things up and started to walk again.
“Wait!” she stopped when he called her. “Thanks for this...” pointing to the band aid then she continued to walk.
“Yuiko-chan, you're almost late for our first period. That's not like you." her seatmate Misa asked.
“ I woke up late this morn..” she was interrupted by a bang on her desk.
“Hey! So we’re classmates huh? Small world.” Sky coolly said as he smirked, oblivious to the girls admiring him.
“See you later Miss.” winking as he bid goodbye.
“Y-yuiko-chan.” Misa didn’t let a chance off to ask her after Sky went back to his seat.
“Yes?”
“D-do you, by any chance, like Sky-kun?”
“Sky? Who is Sky?”
“You don’t know him? But he just came to you a while ago.”
“Ehh?” So his name is Sky huh? “That’s impossible. We only met once by chance and this is the second time.”, she smiled sweetly to her first friend ever since she came in this school. Maybe she likes him. “Why do you ask?”
“N-nothing really. Well.. Would you like to go to my place tonight to study together?”,it was obvious that she was trying to change their topic but since she asked her to study together, they have the whole night to share secrets.
“Sure. I’ll go to your room then.”

She’s running out of breath as if someone was strangling her. Her body is really weak and she feels so thirsty. But no matter how much water she takes, she just get more and more thirsty, as though it was not water that she needs. So she walks towards a tree and leaned against it.
“W-what’s happening?”, asking herself with a pale voice. Then slowly her nails grew longer and her eyes we’re burning as they turned red. Then a voice talked behind her.
“Oh! It’s you again. Are you following me?” said the familiar voice. And as she heard him, she tried to go back to her normal self, but fail to no avail.
-Silence-
No one moved, neither did they talked. The only thing that can be heard is Yuiko catching her breath as if she came running a thousand mile and Sky can’t help but to notice it.
“Are you alright?” as he touched her shoulder to make Yuiko face him. He was shocked with what he saw and before he could make a comment, she already grabbed him for a bite.
