I've been with the Cullen's for the past few weeks, it's been awhile since Prom. I didn't need blood, 24/7. So I was going back to my own home, everything will be completely normal. But, in the next coming year, things will all change.

It was mine and Bella's birthday, mom and dad sent her a present. I got nothing, which wasn't abnormal. The only people I ever got anything from, were the guys from the Reservation and Phil. But, I haven't gotten anything from them in five-six years. Phil will get me small things, nothing big like he used to. I mean, I'm not complaining about anything. At least I got stuff,

I got dressed in dark jeans, black & white long sleeve-shirt, black Nike's, and a light blue jean jacket. I didn't really have any plans for the day, I was probably just going to stay home or go to L.A. Push Beach.

Alice gave Bella a present, which she wasn't too pleased about. She didn't like her birthday, she was officially 'older' than Edward, at least according to her. I sighed and cleared my throat, Alice looked a little guilty, I leaned close to Bella.

"Edward's an Old Man, you'll never be older than him Bells. You may look older, but you can get plastic surgery if you want. I'm sure Edward would get it for you." I said

I patted her shoulder and walked away from them, and went to class. After school I went to dad's work, luckily he wasn't too busy. I sat across from him in his office, with the door closed. He could tell this was serious.

"Dad. I'm going to move out." I said

"What. Why? I know you're eighteen, but you don't have any money or a job." he said

I knew he didn't like, we talked and argued. The fuck. He never cared before, I slammed the door open, breaking it. I didn't care, everyone watched as I stormed out, I broke one of the front doors too. I ran through the woods, I kicked a fallen log. Denting it, I sat on it and took a deep breath as I calmed down. I don't need his permission. I'm eighteen!

I walked west for a couple hours, until I found the perfect spot. I kicked and punched at one spot on a tree, my fists started to bleed and so did my feet as I finally broke down a tree. I may have more strength, but it still hurts.

It's been a few days since mine and Bella's birthday, it was dark when I got home and a lot of people were here, I talked to one of dad's co-workers and they told me Bella was missing. That was when dad came up to me and yelled. Blaming me for not being there for Bella.

Sam showed up, I ran over to take her from him but dad just 'nudged' me aside and took her. Thanking Sam, I scoffed as he walked off.

"You're bleeding," said Billy

I looked at my knuckles. They were bloody, I just gave him a small smile.

"I'm fine Billy, always am." I said

I went inside, grabbed my keys and a bag and left. I got on my bike and went towards my spot. I'll still go to school, but when I'm not. I'm working on my home, and I can do it. I'm not exactly fully human.

Sam, and Billy were by each other. They watched as I headed to my bike, but. Jacob stopped me, and the look in his eyes...were anger. His grip on my arm tightened.

"Where are you going?! Are you leaving? Especially now, when Bella's in this state?!" he snapped

"Jake-" I started

"Don't. You can't call me that." he growled

His grip tightened, that was going to leave a bruise. I sighed,

"I'm just going for a ride to clear my head, I'm not leaving Bella. I couldn't do that." I said/lied

"...Don't call me Jake..." he said

He let go and left, I started the bike. I drove off, going to my special spot.
