"Madi!!" A voice yelled, coming from the distance.

"That's my name!" Madi yelled. A bright young boy comes peering around the corner.

"Kyungsoo?!" Says a surprised Madi, with a surprised look on her face.

"Your mom let you come out of the house to play with me?" Madi asks almost concerned.

"Well, no. I sneaked out of my bedroom window.." Kyungsoo said nervously, scratching his head.

"Kyungsoo! Your mom is going to scold you if you keep doing that. She's probably wondering where you ran off to right now." Madi said, curtly.

Kyungsoo isn't the brightest boy, nor will he ever be the smartest boy. Madi's there to help him throughout life, it's her job. They're best friends who bonded over the South Korean boy group, Sechskies. They both fell in love instantly. Sechskies recently broke up last year and Kyungsoo and Madi took it really hard- they basically locked themselves in their rooms. It was a sad year for the two of them, but they shook it off. Now, they're hearing about a new YG boy group called BigBang.

"Madi, can I tell you something?" Kyungsoo asked her.

"Of course! What's on your mind?" Madi said confidently.

"This may seem heartbreaking to hear, but here it is. Madi, I'm moving to a different city." Kyungsoo said, almost in tears.

"I thought you were actually being serious for a minute Kyungsoo, nice joke. You don't have to lie to me." Madi said while laughing and also being quite serious.

"Madi! I'm not joking! I'm leaving in a few days, that's why I left my house. I don't want to move, I don't want to be away from you, you're all I have." Kyungsoo said while crying.

"Okay Madi, I'll go get a pen and a piece of paper to write my number on, okay?" Kyungsoo says excitedly whilst running to his house. Madi was sat at the bench, waiting and waiting for Kyungsoo to come back, but he never did. Madi seemed quite upset, so she thought she'd just go home since it was getting late.

Madi was greeted by her mom, Jadzia when she knocked on the door.

"Madi. It's past your curfew, you should've been home an hour ago, young lady." Jadzia told her.

"Mom! Kyungsoo is moving cities and he told me that he would give me his number so we can keep in touch, but he needed to write it on some paper so he told me to stay right where I was, so I did, but he never came back." Madi cried.

"Maybe we'll go to the park in the morning and see if he's there. Or we could go to his house and see if Kyungsoo and his parents are there, sound like a deal?" Jadzia suggested.

"Sure! We'll do that tomorrow. I'm going to get ready for bed, good night!" Madi said while walking to her room.

Meanwhile, Kyungsoo is packing all of his things together.

"Mom, I was supposed to write our number on a piece of paper!" Cried Kyungsoo.

"For whom?" Nina asked.

"A friend." Kyungsoo said.

"What friend Kyungsoo?" Nina asked concerned.

"Her name is Madi," Kyungsoo said passionately.

"I told her that we're moving and I wanted to give her our phone number. She means the world to me; I couldn't imagine moving forward without her, Mom." Kyungsoo said. Nina wanted to help her son but didn't know how. She wants her son to be happy and to give Madi their number so they can keep in touch.
