Madi woke up and saw her mom standing by the door.

“It’s time to get up sleepy head!” Jadzia said eagerly.

“No, please,” Madi said before her mom turned the light on.

“I said it was time to wake up.” Jadzia said whilst laughing.

Madi finally got up and got ready for school,

“Shyanne, why must you lay on my dresser everyday?” Madi asked while sighing.

Madi walked downstairs, grabbed her breakfast, and ate at the table. Madi saw Jadzia working as busy as a bee and asked if she needed help, Jadzia didn’t want Madi to be late for school so she said no.

“Dad, I can’t go to school today, Devin was acting like a jerk, he is a pig.” Rachel said.

“Well you have a heart of gold, don’t you.” Dad said sarcastically.

“I can’t help it, if you had to be in class with him, you’d say the same thing.” Eden said. Madi walked out of the kitchen with her mouth full,

“I could eat a whole horse, that’s how hungry I am.” Madi said while walking toward the coatroom.

“Well that was awkward, we should get heading to school, you and Madi have a big day today!” Dad said excitedly.

“You say that everyday.” Rachel sighed.

“My feet are killing me, do I have to wear those shoes?” Madi yelled.

“Your mom wants you to wear those shoes, I wouldn’t argue with her on this.” Dad suggested.

“Fine, but just this one time!” Madi said while running out of the door.

The Kim sisters were at school now and Eden spotted her friend Meghan down the hall,

“Meghan! You are so rude for trashing my room like that, I don’t like you anymore.” Rachel confessed.

“That isn’t my fault, you trashed your room too.” Meghan explained while trying to stay calm. Rachel was furious and angry, even the slightest word could trigger Rachel at this moment. The school bell yelled at everyone, warning them that class would be starting soon.

“I’ll finish this conversation later with you, Meghan.” Rachel glared. Meghan was in shock. She has never seen Rachel act this way. It was a scary sight.

Meanwhile, Madi was in class and her stomach started growling, she knew that her protein bar was calling her name, so she grabbed her backpack and opened it. She saw the protein bar and took a bite, it was the best thing that she had ever tasted before. The bell went rang, again. It was time for the students to travel to their other classes.

“Mrs. Choi!” Madi screamed.

Mrs. Choi was Madi’s all-time favorite teacher, she was Madi’s Language Arts teacher.

“Are we doing anything interesting today? You know Adverbs are my achilles’ heel!”

“Actually, yes! We’re going to play Kahoot today!” Mrs. Choi told her with a smile on her face.

“I need to ask you a question that I had on the homework you assigned us on Friday, that prepositional phrases worksheet hit me like a truck.” Madi exclaimed.

“Of course! I can help you right now.” Mrs. Choi said.

Since Kyungsoo moved schools and cities, it’s been hard for him. Being away from Madi and the happy place he once lived in. Kyungsoo was walking in the hallways of his new school, he saw fights happening, Boom! Pow! A kid was thrown into a locker. A frightened Kyungsoo was spooked and ran off. Kyungsoo heard someone saying these words, “She sells seashells down by the seashore.” He walked a little closer to the place the noise was coming from, and he heard a different alliteration now,

“Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.” Kyungsoo walked into the place where the noise was coming from and saw his new Language Arts teacher.

“Oh! Hello!” Kyungsoo greeted his new teacher.

“There’s some fighting going on in the hallway, I wanted to make sure that you’re aware of that but anyways, My name is Kyungsoo, I’m new.” Kyungsoo told the teacher.

“Welcome! Fights happen all the time here, everyone does their own thing here, it’s a pretty normal occurrence.” The teacher said.
