As I walked up my driveway to my house after that whole ordeal I couldn't think straight. Everything was different now. Was it in a good way?

When I opened the door my brother and jake were on the couch playin Xbox. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Hey Mia.!" Jake greeted me.

"Hey jake!" I said fakely.

Then as I was taking off my jacket and hanging it up jake and Collin were whispering.?

As I was about to run up the stairs jake said

"Mia can we talk?"

"Sure." I said quite annoyed that I really just needed to take in what had happened earlier.

"Let's go on the porch." He said.

When I shut the door he said

" Mia you know I've had a thing for you for a long time..." Yeah I know he does it's been 5 years and he's still going strong. "But I get you don't find me attractive.." We'll it's not that, he's very attractive. He has a perfect tan, perfect dirty blonde hair, and those piercing blue eyes. Don't get me wrong, I've though about it it's just he's my brothers friend and not really my type. " and you like someone else, I just wanna let you know I'm gonna move on and I hope to be friends. Just know I'll always be here for you." Did I say he was built.

"Jake I love you. But not in the way you wanted me too and I'm truly sorry. I have feelings for someone else and I can't change that. Your like my brother, I can't date my brother. That'd just be weird and really fuc*** up. Just know that your handsome and you will find a girl that you'll fall in love with one day . Even if we don't wanna believe it it does happen to everyone. And I'll always be here for you too." I said and I meant it. I'm happy that it's finally gotten to this point.

"Thanks I love you too sis." He said lightly punching my arm. Then he gave me a hug and picked me up. He carried me inside bridal style and lightly tossed me on the love seat.

"We'll you two lovebirds be careful." Collin said cracking up.

"No it's not like that were just friends now I'm beyond that now I swear." Jake said defensively.

I laughed.

"Ok well jake let's go to bed I'm pretty whooped." Collin said running upstairs.

Jake followed but before he went he said. "Goodnight Mia."
