your p.o.v:

i jolted awake in the middle of the night due to a sharp pain in my stomach.

"ugh," i grunted as i gripped the site of pain. "why me," i whined shoving my face into my pillow knowing that this sudden pain meant the devil had decided to unleash its wrath on my ovaries.

"fucking flow of satan's sea of death has begun," i mumbled to myself as i got out of bed, grabbed another pair of underwear and sweatpants, and walked to the bathroom. after changing and putting on a pad, i grabbed some pain killers and took them before returning to my bed. i closed my eyes and tried to return to my slumber; however, life decided to shit on me and keep me awake.

"it's fucking 3:45 a.m. let me sleep satan," i growled before giving up and once again shoving my face into a pillow. i  got up, turned on my light, and grabbed my laptop from my desk. i had a stranger things marathon and ate my secret stash of candy i had inside my bedside table. it was now 10 in the morning, and i was tired as heck. just when i thought i could shut my eyes and try to sleep, my shit stick of brother barged into my room looking for a charger.

"corbyn, just buy a goddamn charger already," i said aggravated while handing him mine.

"i would, but i don't want to," he said grinning, "plus it's just another excuse for me to annoy your stupid ass."

"that was rude," you said faking an offended tone as he laughed.

"hey, just a heads up the boys are coming over in about a hour so you might want to..um.. not look like you're dying," corbyn said in a sarcastic tone

"why the fuck would i care what your dumbass friends think of me," i replied coldly not in the mood for my brother's sly remarks.

"don't know, just thought you might want a heads up. god damn woman," he said before leaving my room and stealing a gummy bear from me in the process.

"finally some peace and-" i was cut off by a knock on the front door.

"i'll get it," my brother said.

next thing i hear is the sound of 4 teenagers with big ass egos entering my house saying things like "what's up bro?" and "aye corbynnn"

"UGH," i screamed as i slammed my door shut and locked the door.

"what's her problem," jonah whispered to the guys.

knock knock

"nobody's home," i groaned at the sound of someone outside my bedroom door.

"y/n, it's me jack, i wanted to check on you, you seemed a little out of it before," jack said in an almost  questioning tone.

"go away," i hissed, but he refused and stood at my door tapping his foot and whistling.

"damn, your clingy i said," as i reluctantly got  up and unlocked my bedroom door letting the artificially curly-haired boy into my room.

"what do you want?" i questioned looking at jack annoyed.

"to be there for you," he said cooly.

"why?" i asked, a confused look plastered all over my face.

jack just laughed and replied, "because i care about you y/n, no matter how annoying you can be. i just want to see you happy, and i want to be the one who makes you happy," his voice drifted almost into silence as he said the last part. a smirk appeared on my face, and i looked at him and gasped.
