I laid on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I could see the lightly blue that was my room, but is was blurry. I didn't think I could hurt so much. I saw her Thursday and she was fine, happy even and yesterday she just jumps. Something doesn't add up here. I reached for my camera, but there was a knock at the door. "Sweetie are you awake?" Mom asked. I very little late night, I couldn't stop seeing Osana or the girl I found. I was so interested in it I looked her up. It was something like Velma or something. I looked up to see mom walking over to me. "Hi mom." I said to her. She smiled sweetly at me as she sat down. "I'm sorry." She said to me. "I didn't see it. I wished I could have. I didn't know she that upset." I said as I fell into her. She let out a sigh and stocked my head. "You can't blame yourself for not seeing it. If you were kind and tried to help, that's what matters." She said to me, but I only half believed her. I still should have seen it, but I didn't and I wish I could have changed it. "Well, I'll be around if you need me." She said as Jin called her for help.
I loaded down on my bed, my back to the door as I help myself. I hear a knock for the front door. I let out a sigh as I heard someone opening it. "Is Jun here?" They asked, but I just stop listening. I had my phone in my hands, looking over photos. I stopped at one I took on Thursday and could help, but cry.
Budo: Hi
Me: ...hey
Budo: what are you up to?
Me: laying in bed, trying not to ball my eyes out. Why?
Budo: Making sure your ok.
Me:I'm slowly getting there. I just hurts.
Budo: I know.
Me: What are you doing?
Budo: I'm will Taro. Or I should say he's will me. He didn't want to stay only. His parents are of town this weekend.
Me:How's he holding up?
Budo: as well as you can expected.
Budo: He been here cents last night. He's really falling apart.
Me: Poor thing.
Me: How are you holding up?
Budo: Still in a little shook. She was happy on Thursday.
Me: I know. It like something doesn't add up.
Budo: Maybe she didn't want us to worry about it.
Me: I'm coming down there.
Budo: What? No you should stay home and sleep.
Me: I haven't slept well, I don't think I'm going to get sleep now.
Budo: I couldn't stop you.
I throw something on, grabbed my keys and left the my room. "Where do you think your going?" My father asked. "I see some friends." I said to him and he nodded. "Be back before dark." He said and I nodded. I ran down the steps and down the road. I stopped at his small house and knocked at the door. I was greeted by Mrs. Masuta and she smiled at me. "Hello Miyo, please come in." She said to me. "Thank you Mrs. Masuta." I said to her. "You're always so formal, so polite." She said. I smiled at her md she lead me to the stairs. "My son has good tastes in women. " she said and Budo ran down to us. "Okay that's enough mom." He said pulling me away from his mother. She walked away from us and I hugged Budo. He didn't waste a moment and hugged me back, kissing my forehead. "Come on, we're up here." He said taking my hand and pulling me upstairs.
He opened the door that there was Taro sitting there on Budo's bed. He looked up at me as stared at him. "He's so pale." I muttered. "He's been like this all night. Just crying, I tried to help him sleep, but nothing." Budo said to me. I walked over to Taro and sat down next to him. "You're seeing it, in your head?" I asked him. He just sat there, staring at the floor. "He won't say a word to me either." Budo said sitting down next to me. I pulled Taro to us, like he was a lost little puppy. I let his head rest on my knees and took Budo's hand. I stare down at Taro and noticed he was closing his eyes. I started to stock his head and Budo pulled me close. My head resting on his shoulder. I looked down at saw that he was asleep. "He fell asleep." I whispered. "He must feel safe right now. Enough to make him fall asleep." He whispered to me. I tighten my grip around his hand.
I slowly set his head down and stood up. I felt him grab my shirt and I couldn't move. "Um Budo a little help?" I asked him. Budo walked over and pulled Taro's hand off. Taro was still sleeping when I get to the door. "You sure you have to leave?" Budo asked me. "Ya, if I don't my dad with worry." I said to him. "You could use our phone and call home. You could alway stay the night? I love having you here. You're a positive influence on my son." Mrs. Masuta said from the bottom of the stairs. I looked at her and she smiled at me. I looked out the window and saw how dark it was out. "Okay, I'll stay." I said to them. Mrs. Masuta clapped her hands and handed me the phone.
"Hello?" I said. "There she is, telling us your spending the night?" Mom asked. "Yes I am." I said to her. "Who's house is she staying at? If it's Ayano girls house, she can't stay there." Dad said. "I'm at Budo's house." I said. "She's not there. She said she's at the Masuta's." Mom said. "Who else it there?" Dad asked. "Taro. He's sleeping right now." I said. "Ok, well you have funny sweetie." Mom said to me. "I'll try." I said. "Love you." She said to me. "Love you too." I said. I hung up the phone and walked into the living room. I saw Budo sitting there watching something with his mom. I heard a noise and looked up to see Taro standing there rubbing his eyes like a little kid. I sat down next to Budo as Taro sat down on the other side of Budo.
Some movie was on about friends, it was a comedy. I watched as they all were texting on the same media platform. "We should that." I muttered, not lifting my head from Budo's shoulder. "We should do that?" Taro asked. "Ya, that way we can stay connected." I said to them. "Could we add anyone?" Taro asked. "Anyone, if we all agree." Budo said. "Sounds good to me." Taro said. "I'll set it up." I said, looking at my phone and set up a group chat.
I laid down on the bed that was on the ground and stared up at the ceiling. I started to fall asleep, when I head gasping. I stood up and walked to the bed. I saw Budo pulling his pillow closer to him. I shook him slowly and moved back when he tried to punch me. "Miyo?" He asked. "Budo, what happened?" I asked him. He grabbed my hand and I looked down at him. "It-it was nothing." "It had to me something if it bothered you." I said to him. He smiled at me as I sat on the bed. "Budo, what is it?" I asked. He let go of my hand and hugged my from behind. I turned my head to see him and he dug his head into shoulder. "Just be careful." He muttered. I nodded and realized what happened in his dream.
I woke up and looked around. I wasn't on the floor or the bed on the floor. I sat up and saw I was on the bed. Taro was sleeping beside me, but Budo wasn't there. I walked downstairs to see a car on the driveway. I looked over to see Mrs. Masuta and Budo talking to someone. I slowly walked to the corner when I saw it was Mr. Masuta. He's not home a lot, but when he is he either is a good mood or he wants to start arguing. Budo stood there with his mom watching his father talk. I stared as he hugged his wife and grabbed something from the living room. He walked into the office and did appeared. I walked up the Budo and took his hand. "Is everything alright?" I whispered. He nodded, but his eyes were staring at the doorway. "I think it would be a good idea for you to take Miyo home." Mrs, Masuta said. I nodded and walked back upstairs and changed back into my clothes. I walked downstairs and opened the door. I started to walk as someone walked in front of me. I stopped and looked at Budo, who had Taro with him. Taro looked better then when I get there yesterday.
I walked with them as we walked to Taro's house. When we stopped there I waited outside at Taro walked inside with Budo. I heard a noise and turned to see someone in the bushes. My eyes widen as I stared at them. They didn't move nor panic. I tried not to scream, but fear took over making not able to do anything. I stood there and stared. "Hey, what are you looking at?" I turned to Budo then back, but they were gone. "Someone was in there." I said to him. He looked but saw nothing. "No ones there now." He said, taking my hand "they took off." He added and he started to walk.
I opened the door and sat down on my bed. Budo had left, the family had dinner and I took a shower. I fell onto my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I let out a sigh before I turned to looked at my closets. We still have to go to school.
