Maura & Louis

"Lucy," she said into the phone. Strangely enough, I could also hear her voice on the radio.

"Well Lucy? I've got some good new for you. You're the 27th caller! You have just won two tickets to One Direction's Valentines Day concert!" The DJ said,, making us fangirl.

"Thank you!" Lucy said into the phone. We looked at each other, very excited.

"We'll mail those to you! Have fun!"  We told him our apartment's address.

Lucy stopped dead in her tracks. "We need to go shopping for outfits!" She dragged me out the door.

The boys came out on the stage, making everyone scream even louder than before. I watched each of their expressions as they came out. All of them looked very happy. Scratch that, everyone but Louis looked happy. He did a good job of masking it, but I could still see his hurt expression. The concert went on, song by song. They sang Torn, I Gotta Feeling, Stereo Hearts and all the songs from their album. The only song they hadn't sang was What Makes You Beautiful. Before they did, Zayn spoke up.

"How are you guys doing tonight?" A very loud 'good' rang through the arena. "Awesome!" He said.

"Since it's Valentines Day, we decided to do something different tonight." Harry said. "Does everything see the number on your ticket? 7 numbers in total?" He asked. "One ticket has a number on it. The person who has that ticket will come on stage with us!" A loud scream was let  out again. On the screen a 7 popped up. After a moment, a 2 came up. By now some girls were booing. A string of numbers came up. 3097. More girls booed, including most of the girls around me & Lucy. I checked my ticket. My number was 7230971. Lucy's was the same, except it was 7230972. The last number came up. It was a one, making the whole number 7230971. The same as my ticket. I showed Lucy, who started flipping out. Instead of asking me for my ticket, she dragged me to the nearest security guard, who took me to the very front, were the barriers were held.

There he was. An angel, or something. It was Louis. He took my hand, helping me up on stage. Somehow, I managed to lose one of my shoes, so I kicked the other of, leaving me in my cream-colored dress. He led me to center stage, where they started the song. He set his mic on the floor, leaving it behind as me made me run around with him on the stage. We danced a little, like little kids.  I could see the joy in his eyes as he twirled me around, making my dress fan out. He pulled me back to center stage, just before Harry's solo. Instead of Harry singing it, he handed his mic to Louis, who sang it, taking my hand and looking me in the eye. Afterwards, he twirled me around again a few times, making me dizzy.

The song ended and the lights started to go dim.

"Wait!" Louis yelled into a microphone he must've found. A single spotlight shone down on us, just the two of us. He turned to me.

"Be my Valentine?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said. Instead of twirling me again or raising our intertwined hands in the air, his lips crashed into mine. "Good night, LA!" He said, lifting our hands together.

Not what I was expecting, but it was more than I could ever ask for.
