649, 650, 651. Where the crap is it?
662, 623, 624. Still can't find it.
I took a few more turns, finally finding the number 690. This hall, I said to myself. I stopped and knocking on number 697, I took a deep breath. I felt nervous. Why am I nervous? Now I'm freaking out. What the heck, Nicole! Get yourself together! The door opened, and my eyes met those green ones that I'd grown to love.
"You found it!" He exclaimed while pulling me into a hug. I hugged him back saying, "I almost didn't." He chuckled as he took my hand and led me inside.
"So, I wan't sure of what to do, so I made dinner, he said, leading me in kitchen, still holding my hand. He had set up a table for two. The table was compete with a slender vase holding a single rose. There were two candles, the flame dance lightly.
"It"s perfect," I said, giving him a hug from the side. He pulled out a chair, making me giggle at his gestures. I sat down as he pushed the seat back in.
He disappeared into the kitchen as I sat there, fingering the rose petals, feeling the smoothness of them. I took in my surroundings, the walls were a pale yellow, giving it a warm feeling. The lights were dimmed, the room was warm and it smelled like a mix of vanilla and cinnamon.
Harry walked back in the room, carrying a plate of waffles. He set them down on the table, then took a seat, making me laugh.
"What?" He asked.
"Waffles. I love them. It's just kinda weird," I told him.
"Well, who said I was normal?"
"Touché."
"Well? What are you waiting for?" He asked. "Dig in!" I watched as he stuck his fork into one then lifted it up and put it on his plate. I then followed what he did and then plopped it onto my plate. He ran to the kitchen quickly and came back with toppings. I reached for the whipped cream as soon as he set it down. I then grabbed the sprinkles and opened the container and tipped it.
I let out a small 'oops' as I noticed that they had all fallen onto my waffle. He laughed, making me laugh along.
Twenty minutes later, we were sittin gon the couch, watching Cinderella.
"Hey, Nicole?"
"Yeah?" I turned my head to face him.
"So, um, basically, we got nominated for a VMA."
"That's so awesome! You guys deserve it!" I praised him.
"Well, so, I. um, was wondering...if you, um, wanted to come with me?" He asked me.
I was speachless. "I would love to!" I almost jumped with excitement.
He leaned in and pecked my lips, leaving me with butterflies.
"I love you," he whispered as he leaned down to hug me.
"Love you too."
