"Uh, hi, Cristina." I said introducing myself, smiling confused.
"We saw we were getting new neighbors so, we decided to bring you something." This Grayson guy said.
His brother offered me what looked like a chicken casserole with a satisfied smile.
"Thanks guys. Um, how did you know I moved from somewhere out of L.A.?" I asked while I eyed the casserole with hunger. I hadn't eaten anything since we were on the road.
"The company that brought your stuff, also the license plates-" Ethan replied who suddenly stopped when he saw his twin looking at him with wide eyes. I could tell he was trying so hard no to laugh.
Grayson flipped his head around to see nothing really, I could sense the awkwardness and when he turned I heard he said something that sounded like "creep". I giggled and decided to change the subject.
"So did you guys cook this? Or should I give the credit to your mom?"
Grayson put on an offended face and a hand on his heart. "Doubting my cooking skills?"
"Everyone doubts your 'cooking skills' Gray." He said finger quoting the words "cooking skills".
"Shut up E. Anyway, no, my mom didn't make it. Our sister Cameron, E and I made it." He replied smiling.
"Wow, well thanks!" I said. "I would love to stay and chat, but, I have to continue unpacking."
"Do you need help?" They both asked, then looked at each other and laughed. I had never met twins, so this was a little crazy.
"Sure." I agreed and stepped aside to let them in.
"Mom, dad! Our new neighbors are here to help!"
"Oh good!" My mom said.
"Ooh, so where are you guys from?" Ethan asked. I knew why he was asking, my mom had an accent that was noticeable.
"Mexico." I replied smiling, even though he couldn't see me because he was walking in front of me. We arrived to where my parents were and they immediately looked at the twins. They smiled and came over to introduce themselves.
"Hello, I am Cielo." My mom said shaking her hand with Ethan and then Grayson.
"What's up guys, I am John." My dad said smiling.
"I am Grayson, this is my twin brother, Ethan."
"Nice to meet you." Ethan said.
"Well you two look like you could help carry these boxes to the counter." My dad said smiling.
"Dad..." I was about to say but got cut off by Grayson.
"It's fine that's why we're here." He said waving a hand and smiling. They both smiled a lot, I thought to myself.
"So how old are you?" My mom asked, getting back to unpacking some boxes full of heavy books.
"Turned 18 on December." Ethan replied happy. "Here, let me help you with that."
"Thank you sweetie." My mom said. "I'll get punch."
"Thanks, Mrs...?" Grayson asked.
"Mrs. C is fine." She replied happy.
"So then you're Tina's age! You'll have someone your age around." My dad said turning to me.
"Right." I said raising an eyebrow. "I'll put this in the kitchen. Chicken casserole for dinner people!" I said lifting the dish above my head and walking to the kitchen.
The twins laughed and continued talking with my dad... About football, from what I could hear.
"Están muy lindos esos muchachos, Tina." My mom said pouring punch into six glasses.
"Mom, cute? Seriously? We don't even know them yet." I said scoffing.
"You don't need to know someone to know they are cute looking. And these boys are not Diego." She replied looking serious.
I rolled my eyes and just left the dish there.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
"Yeah well... whatever. Anyway, where's Karina?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Upstairs, in fact please go and get her."
I dragged my feet to the stairs and went up to her room.
"Kari, mom needs you downstairs."
"Okay, call me crazy but I was coming downstairs and I think I am going crazy. Jet lag or something. i'm seeing things, double I think." She said putting her hands through her hair.
"Jet lag? Seriously? It was a four hour drive Karina. And what do you mean?" I asked frowning.
"I think, I saw the Dolan Twins in our house." She said.
"The who?" I asked.
"Oh. Right you don't know them. They make YouTube videos duh?" She asked. "No? Nothing?"
"The guys downstairs are our new neighbors, E-"
"I don't have time for your new friends right now. Please tell mom I have cramps, and tell her I'm folding my clothes, I'll come down in a few."
"Fine, if you get in trouble, that's not my fault." I said closing her door and going downstairs.
When I arrived back to where everyone was, most of the few boxes that were left were already unpacked.
"You guys work fast." I said impressed.
"You bet." Ethan replied, his lips red with punch.
"Tina! They were just telling us they go to LAHS!" Mom said excited.
"Really?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah, really into the whole, entertainment business." Grayson said crossing his arms.
"Glad to hear that we have something in common." I said.
Suddenly, Ethan's phone started ringing.
"Hey, what's up Cam?" He asked.
"Nah we're helping them. No I didn't invite myself in. Okay we'll be there in a few. Peace." He hung up and said they had to leave.
"I'll walk you out." I said happy. The twins said their goodbyes and made their way to the vestibule, opened the door and then opened the front one.
"Well, we hope to see you around sometime when you're not busy." Grayson said, putting his hands in his pockets, it was a little chilly outside.
"Yeah, by the way, you're dad is awesome. He was showing us pictures of your family and he definitely knows about football, which makes him awesome-er." Ethan said, confused. Probably because he noticed the word awesome-er wasn't exactly a word.
"Family pictures?" I asked dumbly.
"Yeah, by the way, your sister Chanel I can't believe she got into Harvard!" Grayson said impressed.
I suddenly felt very uncomfortable and wanted to go back inside.
"Yeah. She's awesome." I said looking past them.
I think the twins noticed and decided to change the subject.
"Anyway, we'll see you around Tina." Grayson said, walking away.
"Bye Tina!" Ethan said catching up with Grayson.
"Bye guys, see you around." I said a little low, but I knew they'd heard, they'd turned and smiled and walked down the street.

"That was cool." Ethan said, scratching his nose.
"It was weird. I'm not saying it's bad it was just, I don't know. She really didn't know us." Grayson said, his hands still in his pockets.
The January chilly wind was blowing, and leaves were flying around. The twins wore their Vans hoodies, and a pair of old jeans.
"It was cool, I mean, she treated us like normal teenagers." Ethan replied excited.
"Yeah." Grayson agreed a little weird. He didn't think of it as something bad, he'd just never met someone his own age, that didn't know him for being, well, famous.
