They were all sitting outside of what remained of Division X, Erik, Charles, and Maria walked over to them and they looked up to see their grim expressions.
"You're all going home." Charles told them. "It's too dangerous now."
"We can't go home, not after what happened, you need our help." Hank said.
"Besides Sean can't go back to the orphanage and Alex can't go back to prison." Raven pointed out.
"Darwin almost died." Erik growled.
"But Paiton saved him." Alex countered. "And do you really think her family wants her back?"
Paiton glared at him even though she knew it was true; they hadn't even tried finding her. She stopped listening to the conversation when the world seemed to be spinning faster around her, this had been happening more often since the attack but she'd gotten used to it and the symptoms were starting to fade, she didn't even feel sick like she used to. Paiton was snapped out of her thoughts when someone shook her shoulder, looking up she saw it was Raven.
"Hey are you coming?" She asked.
"Coming where?"
"Charles and I are taking everyone to where we grew up so we can train."
"Oh."
Paiton went over to the car and Raven gave her a concerned look before getting in the second one. They drove for hours until they reached a large mansion in the country; there was a large green lawn and the house itself looked like a castle. They all walked up the gravel driveway in awe while Raven and Charles grinned.
"Well you certainly grew up in hardship didn't you?" Erik commented sarcastically.
"A hardship softened by me." Raven grinned.
"Wait, are you saying this is your home?" Sean asked in shock.
"Our home now." Charles corrected him.
Charles and Raven led them around the house and let them pick rooms, Sean and Darwin chose the ones closest to the stairs so they could get to the kitchen faster, Alex chose the one next to Sean's and across from Hank's, while Paiton chose the room across from Raven. Erik sighed and decided on a room at the end of the hall, farthest from everyone, once they put what little stuff they had into their rooms Charles and Raven continued the tour and explained what they would be doing for training.
"I suggest you all get some rest because training starts early tomorrow." Erik informed them before sitting on the couch and turning on the TV.
"Erik I suggest you get some sleep too, just because we're more knowledgeable of our powers doesn't mean we don't get to train." Charles said and turned the TV off.
Erik glared at him but didn't say anything before leaving the room, Raven snickered and he scowled at her, which only resulted in the others starting to laugh as well. Slowly they made their way up the stairs and got ready for bed, after a while though Paiton heard her door open and saw Raven walk into her room.
"What is it?" Paiton asked.
"I have an idea to prank the guys."
"Raven it's midnight, can't this wait until tomorrow? We have training in the morning."
"Come on lighten up. It won't take long."
"Fine, what are we doing?"
Raven took out some heavy-duty glue and smirked, "Let's see them try to train with their hands stuck to their faces and walls."
Paiton got up and took a bottle from her before quietly walking down the hall behind Raven, she opened Sean's door and cautiously made her way over to where he was sleeping before putting some glue on his hand and sticking it to the table beside his bed. Sean snorted in his sleep causing Paiton to jump but when she realized he was still asleep she took the chance to run out of the room.
"Sean's taken care of." She told Raven as she came out of Hank's room.
"Same here, I stuck his hand to the floor. Okay now you get Alex and I'll take care of Darwin."
"No way, Alex will kill me when he wakes up!"
"Shh! Don't wake them up, besides I think they'll all kill us when they wake up." Raven replied before going into Darwin's room.
Paiton sighed and went into Alex's room, she put some glue on his face and he started to move, she jumped back incase he woke up but all he did was roll over and basically glued his cheek to the pillow. Paiton tried not to laugh, as childish as this was she did have to admit it was funny. She glued the other side of his face, this time he didn't move, and stuck his hand to it, once she left she went to Darwin's room and saw Raven was still busy gluing Darwin's hand to his hair while there was glue covering his pillow and blanket.
"Really, how much glue do you plan on using?" She whispered.
"I'm almost done hand me that remote."
Paiton sighed and gave Raven the remote, which she stuck to the back of his neck. Once they were done they went back to their own rooms so they could sleep and wait until they got to see their results tomorrow morning.
