~Few Years Later~ Lexi POV: It's been a few years since Jessie and I started dating. I woke up one morning and saw that Jessie wasn't in the bed next to me. I frowned and slowly got out of bed. I made my way to the kitchen where I saw Jessie making breakfast. I smiled and walked over to him and sat on the counter. He looked at me. Morning Gorgeous. he said laughing and kissing me. I laughed. Morning Pectacular. he said. What you making? I asked trying to look over him. He blocked my view. Uh uh uh. he said. No peeking. he said. I frowned. Aww why? I asked with a pout. he laughed. It's a surprise. he said. Fine. I said and walked back into the bedroom.
Jessie POV: I looked at the pancakes in the pan. Today is the day...Today is the day I FINALLY propose to my girl friend of 3 years and the love of my life; Lexi Carter. I put the finished bacon on a plate and slowly cut it into the words Will You Marry Me? I looked at it. I smiled and put the finished pancakes on it. I made smiley faces with the strawberries and placed the plate on the table next to mine. I pulled the ring out of my pocket and looked at it. This is it..I thought. I walked to our bedroom and opened the door. I saw Lexi watching TV. I plopped down on the bed next to her and looked at her. I have a surprise for you. I said with a smirk. She smiled and quickly got out of bed. I laughed and walked over to her. I covered her eyes and guided her to the kitchen. I helped her sit on the chair. Open in 3...2...1..Open.
Lexi POV: I looked down at my plate to see to see the words Will You Marry Me? written in bacon letters. I heard the song Marry You by Bruno Mars playing. Jessie, what is-? I looked down to my left and saw Jessie down on one knee. I had tears in my eyes. He looked at me. Lexi Marie Carter, I've loved you ever since I walked into your Mom's office that day and saw you. It was June 4, 2011; The sun was out and you were wearing a pink and grey Aeropostale outfit with blue jeans. I smiled at the fact he remembered all that. We've had a lot of obstacles to get to this point, but we made it..together. You love me for me. Not for my muscles, or my job, or for my money. You love me for me..the real me...the real Jessie Godderz. I smiled as a tear left my eye. So, Lexi Marie Carter...Will you marry me? he asked pulling out the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.
