The Rose Gold Locket

The teens decided to have a relaxation day. They decided to order out pizza and watch a movie. As they all settled out, Chris came over to Ashley and sat down next to her, he wrapped his arm around her waist and she kissed his neck. Sam sat quietly alone with a frown on her face. She was upset about Josh's disappearance. Ashley got up to get a drink for her and Chris, while Sam followed her.

"Hey, Ash?" Sam said

"Yes, Sam?" Ashley replied.

"I-I have a question..about Josh..do you think he's still at Blackwood Mountain?" Sam asked.

At that moment, the television flickered to the news station.

"There seems to be reports of the missing Joshua Washington back at his family lodge on Blackwood Mountain. Any witnesses will be rewarded," said the serif.

"Oh my goodness, he's alive!!" Ashley exclaimed.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE. JOSH IS GONE," Chris yelled, smashing his hands down on the table.

"Oh my lord, Chris!" Emily yelled in shocked

Chris walked up to Ashley. He pushed Sam out of the way and pushed Ashley against the window.

"Ash, Josh is GONE. He's never coming back and he never will. He's DEAD. Those things dragged him away, can't you understand that!??" He shouted, inched away from Ashley's face.

"Hey, Chris, chill out!!" Mike yelled.

It took both Mike and Matt to pull Chris away from Ashley. As Ashley sprinted upstairs in tears, Sam followed, while Emily and Jess were standing in the living room in shock. Chris started to lose it when he realized he yelled at Ashley, and Mike and Matt tried to comfort him.

"You didn't know, Chris. You were too upset to understand what just happened," Matt told Chris.

"Christopher, it's okay, you just need to take a breather," Mike said.

Meanwhile upstairs, Sam attempted to comfort Ashley, but nothing was working.

"Why did he yell at me?? Just for my opinion on Josh??" Ashley said sternly.

"Well I believe that Josh is out there somewhere, too," Sam told Ashley.

"That's why I wanna find him," Ashley told Sam.

"Wait wait wait, Ash. You can't just go outside, back to Blackwood Mountain, in the middle of a BLIZZARD, to find Josh," Sam said.

"Fine." Ashley replied. "But you're staying in my room for the night."

"Whatever it takes to make you feel better, I'll do it," Sam warmly smiled at Ashley.

"Im going to bed now though, goodnight Sam," Ashley said, rubbing her eyes.

"Goodnight, Ash. Sweet dreams." Sam said, smiling.

Shortly after, Sam turned the other direction and pulled a small rose gold locket out of the small pocket in her leggings. She opened it up, revealing a small picture of Josh. She placed the little locket near her heart.

"I promise you'll come back home, Joshua," Sam said quietly to herself, tears rolling down her cheek.

She left the room to get ready for bed. While Sam was in the bathroom preparing for bed, Ashley heard everything Sam said. At this moment, she realized that she NEEDED to fine Josh as soon as possible.
