"I trust you," he said over and over again.

Ashley couldn't keep her grip on him anymore, but as soon as she felt like she was losing ahold of Josh, help came. Chris grabbed Josh and pulled him away from the window, making them both fall to the floor.

"I don't wanna go," Josh said, heavily sobbing.

"Holy hell, what the fuck is going on in here," Mike said.

"Josh nearly fell out the window," Ashley said. "I don't know what happened, but he just walked to the window and sang a French lullaby and nearly fell out the window."

"Should we take him to the hospital??" Sam asked.

"I don't know," Chris said.

"Cochise, you gotta help me," Josh said, leaning on Chris's chest.

"O-okay bro, we're gonna get you some help. Mike, start up the car." Mike nodded and ran out to the car.

"I-I can't breath," Josh said, zoning out.

"Josh now, just stay with me," Chris said, standing Josh straight up.

"Here, I'm gonna let you sleep on the couch for a little, just to get your head back in place," Chris said.

Mike helped Chris carry Josh down the stairs to the couch. Josh was peacefully sleeping with not a sound to be make. Mike and Chris quietly walked out of the living room to avoid waking up Josh with any loud sounds.

"Oh shit, tomorrow night's the dance at college," Emily pointed out.

"Hey, we should go tomorrow night then!" Ashley said.

"Maybe if he's up to it, we can bring Josh, just to get him out and experience more things," Chris said.

"That sounds like a great idea!" Sam agreed.

As everybody walked down to the basement to watch a movie and talk about what they were planning on wearing at the dance, Ashley stayed upstairs with Josh for a few minutes.

"Hey, Joshua?" Ashley said, lightly shaking Josh's arm.

"Huh?" Josh replied, still have asleep.

"Do you wanna go to the college dance tomorrow night?" She asked.

"Suuure....," he said before falling back asleep.

Ashley smiled and rubbed his cheek, and he faintly smiled warmly. Ashley was happy that she was about to find Josh. She felt successful finally. She wasn't known as just the "bookworm" of their friend group, but also as the friend who found Josh. That made her very happy. She walked down to the basement.

"Sleep well, Josh," she called out to him.

"Goodnight, Ash," he said, still tired.
