Aria's POV
I went to Starbucks this morning and after that I went to the mall before I had to go to work, I decided just to buy a few things for myself. While walking for a few hours since work didn't start until 1 and I was at the mall since 10. I ran into this guy who was in a hurry too.
(Sam - S Aria - A)A- Watch where you're going will ya?
S- I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-
A- Just stop. Geez, and you got coffee all over me.
S- Here let me clean it for ya.
A- Don't touch me!
I put my hands up like I'm blocking him and I walk away.
Sam's POV
Wow. What's that chick's problem? All I did was bump into her. It's not like I pushed her down the escalators! And I was trying to help. Obviously, she was in a hurry for something. Well, I am too! I have a job interview to go to at 1.
A few hours later
Aria's POV
I got to work and I sat on the chair in my office and checked what was on my agenda. It said that today I have to go to a job interview with my dad. Apparently a guy named Sam Wilkinson is looking for a job.
So I got to the meeting room with my best friend and waited for everyone else to come.Sam's POV
I am so nervous for this job interview. I really hope I win these people's attention to getting me into the business. I think I can do it. I am a really good editor in chief. Now here goes nothing. I walk into the room and then I see everyone but there's this one person who I recognized.
Aria's POV
Him! The guy who spilled coffee all over me! No way is he getting an interview here!
"Hi, I'm Sam Wilkinson. I am 25 years old. And I would love to work with your magazine company. I want to apply as a editor and hopefully become an editor in chief in the future..."
"What?! But that's my position I am the editor in chief." I say inside my head.
"I have worked all over the world. In fact, I just came back from Europe! Anyways, I have a perfect idea for this month's cover. I have read a few of your magazines. It is well done but I think we can spice it up a little more. And if I get the job, I would love to share my ideas with all of you."
"Thank you Sam! We will contact you for any other information and if you got the job." my dad says.
"Okay. No worries. Take your time. Thank you so much for your time." Sam says. Then we looks at me and winks.
I scoff. When he leaves we all discuss. One person says that he could be a great editor for our magazine. Another says, he has an open mind and everyone agrees and they like it. My best friend says she would like to know his idea and how he can "spice things up"
"Aria? What do you think?"
"Huh? oh. um, he's okay."
"I'll give him a call in a few days and tell him he got the job." my dad says.
"WHAT?! Already. Dad you never done anything like this before."
"What's wrong about that? Sweetheart, I think this man could help us. He could get more people loving our magazines. i believe in him. And I think he has a little something for ya." My dad grins. Obviously he saw the wink.
"Whatever dad." I leave and my best friend Lacey follows.
"Hey Aria, c'me on give him a chance!"
"Lacey, what if he takes my position?! I've worked so hard to be an editor in chief. You have no idea, and because of him I could lose that position!"
"Hey hey, slow down... Who knows you could be boosted up to assistant of your own dad. You could create the magazine ya know? Put all the puzzles together."
"You're right Lacey. Thanks babe!"
I give her a hug and we get back to work.
