PARK CHAN YEOL

Kim Jongin placed the foldered report on my desk rather clumsily before dropping himself on the chair in exhaustion. It's almost the end of the month and it is his turn to submit a financial report of C&B since my fiance did it the last time. I took the green folder and slipped it under the pile of other paper works I am reviewing and signing. Being the heir to a huge chain of companies and businesses isn't making everything any easier so I am glad Baekhyun and Jongin are very much considerate especially on days like this.

"It's not a really fine weather today, don't you think?" Jongin sighed. "I'm sweating like crazy."

I nodded without looking up from my work, although I'm not really sure because my office here at the Park Corp. main building is air conditioned and I haven't left my seat since seven in the morning. God. It felt like ages ago. After flipping a folder closed, I grabbed my phone and checked it for any messages.

None. I frowned.

"Why isn't he texting me?" I mumbled to no one but myself.

Unluckily, this guy heard me and he immediately knew who I am referring to. "Um," Jongin started, looking at me incredulously. "Maybe because it's a Friday and he's still in class?"

I bit my lip, pouting as I played with the pen I am holding. "Hm," I nod. "That makes sense... I guess." Sighing, I took another pile of papers and browsed through them, surprising myself when the letters started to shake and blur, making me close my eyes and massage my temples. Ugh. This isn't good. I've done enough reading and analysis already. My brain's almost burned out.

"You're stressed, man," Jongin grinned like a complete idiot. "Take a break will you? Do you even know what time is it already?"

I squeezed my eyes shut and leaned back on my chair. "What?"

"Three in the afternoon."

"Sht," I cursed, sighing. "I forgot about lunch."

"See?" Jongin sighed back. "You can't even feel your own hunger. Look, I know work's hard these days considering the struggle in sales and marketing but--"

There was suddenly a knock and I cleared my throat before saying, "Come in, please."
