Chapter 4 tobias's pov

2 years later

Tonight we are going to scatter her ashes. We are going to scatter them along the zip line. I will be doing the honors of course because I was her boyfriend. I'm kind of scared because I am afraid of heights. But I know it's what she would want so I will do it for her. I just sit there crying until she comes. When I hear a knock on the door I grab a Kleenex and wipe my eyes and blow my nose. I hear my mom open the door then I hear footsteps and I know she will be in here soon. When the door opens I hide the Kleenex under my pillow "thank you Evelyn" Christina says "you don't look good" "nope I'm peachy. The love of my life is dead and I have nothing to live for anymore. Life is good!" I say in a sarcastic way. "oh come on Four you've got us!" She says, trying to give me hope. It's not working though. "That's not the same Christina. You don't understand." I say "actually I do understand tobias. Both of the boys that I love died." She tells me even though I already knew. "I'm know I'm sorry Chris I forgot." I say feeling guilty. "It's fine I know." she says. "We should go" "ok." I say. she hands me a Kleenex and we head to the zip line.
