The Winchester Puppy

"Come on Ruby! We have to get you into my room before the boys get back!"

I decided that it was getting a little lonely in the Bunker, so I wanted to get us a little company.

I went to the local animal shelter and got a little German Shepard puppy named Ruby.

But the curious puppy didn't want to hide out in my room.

All she wanted to do was run around and smell everything, which is fine but I needed to get her into my room before my brothers got here.

"Ruby! No! Come back here!"

I finally catch up to the hyper puppy and scoop her up and rush her into my room.

Right after I close my door, I hear the familiar voices of my brothers.

"Sam. I smell a dog. Did you bring a dog in here?"

"Dean how would I have brought a dog in here? I've been with you all day."

Dean goes into the library to investigate some more.

"Sammy, look, there's dog hair everywhere!"

Sam goes over to his older brother to see what he is talking about.

"But Dean, if I didn't bring a dog or you then.. Y/N!"

I cautiously walk of my room to see the boys.

"Hey..... guys." I say quietly.

They turn to look at me and their eyes instantly look down to my black shirt covered in dog hair.

Dean wipes his face with his hand and looks back up at me.

In a quiet tone he asks, "Where is the dog Y/N?"

I smile slightly and motion for them to follow me.

"Her name is Ruby and she's only four months old. And she's the cutest thing I've ever seen!" I gush excitedly about the puppy.

My smile gets bigger as I get to my door.

I turn to face my brothers and slowly open the door.

As the door opens, an excited puppy comes running out and jumps up on Dean.

Sam and I start laughing at Ruby.

"Y/N! You are so damn lucky that this dog is cute!" Dean spits out at me.

And for the rest of the day, Dean is dog-hogging the puppy and not letting anyone else hold her.

I think it's safe to say that the oldest Winchester is starting to warm up to the idea of having a dog.
