"Niamh! Come on! We are already running late!" Shouted my mum from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled back, as I deleted the last picture of Dave from my phone.
I grabbed my bags and looked at the mirror. I still had really puffy eyes and red splotches of skin across my face from hours of crying. I needed to get over Dave and fast. I couldn't keep torturing myself crying about him when he probably couldn't care less about me or how I was doing. Sad, depressed, broken and worthless. I guess heartbreak truly is the worst feeling in the world.
I hurried downstairs, before my mum could call me down again. Mum desperately wanted to be back with Tony, my step dad and my step sister Britney, they had left to Cornwall earlier on this summer than us. I guess mum understood my feelings and I, more than Tony and respected the fact that I was to depressed to get out of my own bed occasionally. But I hated to see my mum suffer and have to worst summer ever because of my feelings. Whenever she woke me up in the morning, I could see it in her eyes how badly see wanted to be with him again. But let's be honest they could have just left me home alone to cry myself to sleep everyday for the whole of summer.
I went outside to find my mum waiting for me in the car. I threw my luggage at the back seats of the car and began to buckle my seat belt.
"You ready?" My mum asked watching me buckle my seat belt.
"Ready than I'll ever be."

"Natasha! Your finally here." Tony exclaimed kissing my mum's cheek and reached his arms out to hug her. I didn't even bother to try to hug him back, even if the hug was meant for me. I just patted him on the back.
Good to see you too
I grabbed my bags and hauled them to the house door. I dumped my bags on the nearest sofa and ran upstairs to find what spair room could be my bedroom or if I was lucky to see Britney, who could be home.
Possibilities. Very unlucky.
As I climbed up the stairs, I called out for Britney.
"Oh my gosh, Niamh! You're here. Come on we don't have enough time. We have a party to go to." Screamed excitedly with curlers in her hair and a charcoal face mask on.
"Wait,what! What party?"
"Well a friend of mine is hosting a party at their beach house and I got you an invite. I'm not the taking no as an answer."
"Aaagrrh!" I rolled my eyes. I should have seen this happening after all Britney has always been a party girl.
"Fine. I'll come." I run downstairs to get my bags it was going to be sunset soon and that wasn't enough time to get ready.

Tony drove Britney and I to the beach house. Britney looked stunning as usual. She was wearing a blue mini dress with black knee high boots. And her long blonde hair and fell upon her shoulders. On the other hand I was wearing a floral jumpsuit and scandals. I had braided my hair into dutch braids and decided to finish the look with my fave sunglasses.
"Let's go!" Britney said she pulled me into the house, excited for me to meet all her friends. There were two girls and three boys.
"Hey guys. This is my sister Niamh!" I waved at the five of them sitting in front of me.
"Hey I'm Jenny," said the other blonde hair girl,"and this is Mia, Zac, Adrian and Jordan.
"Hey." They all chorused together. I glimpsed at Jordan.
