**Leah's POV**
I want to leave this place so much, but, something's holding me back, or rather, someone. Hunter Logan Doyle. Every girl falls out of their chairs at the thought of him, some how I manage to stay seated when he stares at me during class. It's probably 'cause he hasn't seen my painties yet, I doubt he'd really want to. I'm just a toy to him, and all toys must be played with at least once.
That's what I was told by none other than the gayest of the gay, Alexander Hugh Elliot. Whom happens to be attending a private school without me, no fair that he can get away from this hoard of monsters.
Why do I call them a hoard of monsters? That's simple, they stole my best friend in middle school. But I can't dwell on that, not right now at the very least.
The teacher gives me a sad smile as the bell rings. I wonder, what if these teachers aren't so bad? I mean, they take pity on me, but many people just shove me into lockers and laugh at me. At least the teachers' smile isn't filled with disgust or triumph at my weak attempts at standing up for myself.
I pack up all the crap that will eventually be scattered around the cafeteria in a matter of minutes. 'Welcome to hell' I say to myself as I walk into the now flooded hallway. I don't mean with people, I mean with water. The bubbler is overflowing into the hallway and a certain bad boy is standing next to it looking right at me. Great.
It's finally lunch, however, maybe I can pretend like I was only looking at the cause of destruction in the hallway. Most certainly I can get away with that, right? Sigh, he noticed me and now is walking through the water strait for me. Well how the hell can I get away without looking crazy and having those bitches get my papers wet AND getting away from him? Things add up too fast sometimes.
I turn on my heal right back into the classroom and run behind a desk as he opens the door, very slowly. Just build suspense you ass, oh wait, you already are! God I wanna yell at him right now, but I don't at the same time. I'm not sure why he's always chasing me around, unless he just wants to add me to his collection of whores. Classy, aren't I? Ya, that's what i thought too.
He starts making that clicking sound with his tongue like hes calling for a lost cat, what am I to him? He keeps chasing me, does he find this amusing or something? Almost like he read my thoughts, I hear a deep chuckle from behind me, oh joy! His shoes click down the aisle right to where I'm hiding. "here comes the dick, here comes the dick," I mutter. His laughter increases.
"Is that really what you think of me?" I whirl my head around and face him with fear evident in my eyes. Oh shit, this can't be good!
He smirks at my distress and mocks hurt, "I thought we were friends, I'm so sad you don't feel the same way." ass-hat. I roll my eyes at his awful acting.
"We've never been friends, I don't know what gave you such an idea," I try to sound board but fail horribly.
"Come on Leah-" I widen my eyes and stop his sentence short, "what did you just say?" He knew my name and he said it with ease like he knew me like an old friend, how could he do that? I knew his name 'cause of his popularity, but I'm a nobody, just the girl everyone bullies. Why would he know my name, he might not bully me but I'm still trash compared to him.
"I said, 'Come on Leah', that's your name, isn't it? Leah?" wow, I got the bad boy flustered! This has to be a parallel universe.
"Yeah, that's my name, what is it to you?" I silently thank my dad for making me watch all those action films as a kid, otherwise i wouldn't have the courage to be snappy in the face of Hunter. He lets out a small chuckle, it sounds forced for some reason. Nah, I'm just over analyzing again, nothing to worry about.
"I was wondering if you'd sit with me, at lunch today? Please? I'll give you some of my food, I promise it won't taste bad! Plus I'll be very lonely without you, what do you say?" he fakes a pout causing laughter to erupt from my throat. What is he trying to do?
"I'll sit with out on one condition," I hold up my finger wile he nods, gesturing for me to go on. "you can't keep chasing me around the school, it's really weird and freaking me out." I scrunch up my nose to make my point clear.
He takes a deep breath, "I'm afraid I can't do that if you keep running away. But I'll agree to these terms and conditions if you sit with me everyday and if you don't show up I'm going to hunt you down until I find you. Deal?" He says with a small smile.
"Deal" I say
